The young artist frantically ran around her apartment trying to tidy it up. She had never had someone pick a piece up so this was new. She also knew Mat was a lavish guy that probably didn't appreciate messy surroundings, so she tried to make her home as presentable as possible for his arrival.

She felt very pressured. She admired this man and now she felt like she had to make a perfect impression.

At 10am her doorbell rang, and Bonnies stomach dropped. He was officially here, just a thin layer of wood away.

She had scripted how she wanted this exchange to go. She was going to greet him, show him the jacket, offer for it to be packaged and then hand him the $100 he had overpaid her. After Bonnie checked her account last night she noticed Mat had transferred more than she asked for, could have been all a big mistake, but she wasn't keeping that money, so in a frantic rush, she made her way to the closest ATM and took the money out to give back to her client.

Bonnie opened the door, Matthew standing there looking down at his feet. He looked up quickly a wide smile on his face, his hand outstretched for her to shake.

"Hey! Its so nice to meet you Bonnie!" He greeted enthusiastically taking her hand and pulling the flustered girl in for a quick hug.

"You too" She answered before stepping back and allowing him to walk in. Matthew observed the space as we entered, looking at each detail of the room. Her kitchen, her art station, the living space in the middle and then finally his eyes landed on her wall of hanging pieces, his jacket out on display.

"You have a really nice place here" He complimented, making his way over to the jacket and taking the sleeve in his hand, inspecting the item of clothing.

"Where do you source your clothes?" He asks, taking it off the rack and turning it around to admire the work Bonnie had done.

"Thrift stores mainly, I bleach wash them or dye them if the denim is ugly though" Bonnie replied quietly from behind him.

"I really love it!" He exclaimed, turning around to face the girl. "Did the money transfer correctly?"

"About that, I think you gave me too much, I've got it here though, I can give it back"

Mat shook his head. "I think I was fairly precise when transferring it, love."

Bonnie nodded her head, accepting that she wasn't getting anywhere with him that way.

"That just means I owe you another piece for free then. Do you want me to wrap this one up?"

"It's fine, I can take it just like that. Do you have a business card?" Mat asked in response. Bonnie nodded, grabbing one from her drawer and placing it in Matthews outstretched tattooed hand.

"Pleasure doing business with you" Matthew spoke professionally, a glint of amusement in his tone as he was escorted back to the front door. "I'll stay in touch about some more pieces, I'm really in love with your work"

'I'm really in love with you' Bonnies mind sung, the words ringing in her thoughts as she concentrated hard enough to not say them out loud.

"Thankyou" Bonnie replied humbly. She secretly relished the compliments of her work, she put in a lot of effort in her pieces and every bit of appreciation went right back into the energy she brought to her art.

Once Matthew was out of sight the girl let out a deep breath, relieved that the stress inducing interaction was over. It wasn't every day that an admired idol stands in your apartment, buying your clothes, the moment felt too surreal.

But, Bonnie knew, that it was in fact very real, and it wasn't going to be the last of her and Mat Musto.
