Chapter 7 - Christams Eve

Ninjago fans I am sorry to say but just to cut to most of the chase (cuz I got stuff in stored) I'm going to do a time skip to Christmas Eve. Sorry for the inconvenience. But I do know you'll like what's in store ;)

Your P.O.V

Its been a few months since I met Lloyd and the others and a few days hence I've seen them. And since Christmas holidays would be here faster than I thought, I'd be seeing them much sooner. I walk downstairs and I see my mother with a big heavy looking box full of colorful ornaments and lights for our Christmas tree.

I then slide down the railing of the staircase to my mother's aid. "Let me help you mom", I say as I grab the bottom of the box leading it to the kitchen counter.

"Esta Caja es pesada...", I strained to say as I put the box down. "Y/N dear please speak English, you know I don't speak Spanish. "I said the box was heavy....and what's the point in learning a new language if I don't even use it."

My mother takes a seat on a bar stool near an aisle. "Cheer up dear I'm sure you're not the only one in the whole of Ninjago who can speak Spanish, let alone even understand it, there are possibilities.". I take a seat next to my mom, and just as my mouth opened to talk, my phone rang.

"I gotta take this, I'll be back.". I jog into the living room and check my phone to see who is calling. Lloyd. I answer the call then crash onto the couch.

"Hello?", I ask---my voice feeling flustered a bit.

"Hey", Lloyd says in his cute voice.

"Hey Lloyd, how are Nya and Jay going?", I asked as I twirled some of my hair out of my face.

"It has gotten a little better since you seen them I guess...Why?",he says from the other side of the phone.

"N-no reason!.....So what's up? why'd you call??", I said as I got up going to my room.

"I-I just wanted to know if we could hang today...........Just the two of us...". I pause for a second then realized what just happened. Lloyd is asking me out?!?!

"I'd love too", I replied in my cheering voice. "Great!, pick you up in 5?".

"Do you wanna see me that bad?",I replied with a grim smirk on my face.

"I uh...n-nevermind that", Lloyd stuttered.

"Don't worried I'll be ready...", I said as I laugh at him.

"Great!, I'll be there".

And with that, I hung up the phone and I went back to my mom who happened to start decorating the tree. "Mom I thought you weren't going to decorate without me?", I whined as I put down the phone.

"Sorry dear I couldn't have helped myself", my mom said with a little giggle, "You could still put up the star through", she said with a little smile on her face.

"Thanks, mom...". I open my arms to give my mom a hug. "So who was it that called?", my mom says as she hung up an ornament on the tree.

"Oh, i-it was Lloyd...", I say blushing a pale pink.

"What did he say? Did he ask you out?", My mom says with a smirk on her face. "I guess he kinda, in a way asked me o-out", I said as my mom lifts her both eyebrows then smiles. "So are you going?", she asked as I hung up a candy cane.

"Of course I'm going, without a doubt and a second thought. I wouldn't miss it for the world...". My mother looks at me surprised then smiled again. As I turn around to get another ornament my mom began to talk again. "If you're interested in him, I won't stop you, you know." I froze stiffened by what she said then opened up to her.
