Chapter - 5 The Thanksgiving Feast

It's 9 in the morning and I just woke up. I look at my phone laying beside me on the bed then remembered that I was going somewhere with Lloyd today. I grab my phone and see a newly received a message.

Texting
Lloyd- Good Morning Sunshine!
Y/N- Good Morning Mr. Cheerful 😀
Lloyd- 😊 How's it going? Did you eat yet?
Y/N- I just woke up, and I'm pretty hungry...
Lloyd- That's good....Get ready and I'll come pick you up
Y/N- What about breakfast?!
Lloyd- Don't worry about it, cya soon 😉

Your P.O.V

I jump out of bed and get ready. I don't bother to put on any makeup because of time so I throw on a gray turtleneck long sleeve top and a navy blue jeans (or anything of your choice). I head downstairs to see my mother in the living room reading a newspaper. She then lowers her newspaper a bit. "Good morning Y/N, you look nice, where are you going?", she said eyeing my clothes.

"I'm going out...", I said as I brushed my hair back. "By yourself?!", she exclaimed with shock. "No mom, I'm going with Lloyd", I watch as relief speeds across my mothers face, then a smile. "Okay then, have fun and be safe! Oh! And Happy Thanksgiving!!!". Just as my mom said that she got up gave me the tightest hug in my life and not long after, the doorbell rang. Then my mom went back to her space on the couch as I was released from her tight hug I then open the door.

"Hi", I said as I opened the door.
"Hey", Lloyd replied as a smile was lit on his face, "You look...beautiful"
"Thanks", I say with blush spread across my face, "And you look...handsome", I said to get back at him for making me blush. Lloyd was wearing a black suit and tie with a green formal shirt under it, while his face was turning red.

~Time Skip of a few minutes~

Lloyd and I were in his car heading down the road, But to where? I hadn't a clue. "Uhh...Lloyd, where are we going?", I ask.
"Well...you said you didn't eat anything yet right?", he said with a smile on his face. "Yeah..", I say agree with him. "So...I'm taking you to see my friends so we can have a feast.", in the corner of his eye, I knew he saw me blush a bit.

"Is that why you came for me ten minutes early?", I ask with a bit of slyness in my voice. I smile a bit knowing I got back Lloyd for making me blush crimson red twice. "No, that's not the reason why...", he says in his usual tone, "I wanted you to get to know my friends a bit". "Y-You mean t-the rest of the ninja team?!?", I say astonishingly (ASTON-ISH-INGLY)

"Yeah", Lloyd replied back calmly. As happy as I was about this I couldn't let Lloyd see me in fangirl mode 😞 I tend to be a little over-reactive.

Lloyd's P.O.V

It's been at least ten minutes and Y/N and I have reached the monastery. I parked up the car in the yard with the rest of the vehicles. (Not the mechs) As Y/N and I got out the car she began to look nervous. "Y/N are you okay?", I ask in my concerned voice. "Y-yeah it's just that....what if I-I was to go all fan-girly and t-they don't like me.", Y/N said out of tone.

"It's alright", I said as I locked the car, "They may be ninja's but that doesn't mean they aren't normal, besides I think Kai digs attention, and I'm pretty sure the rest might be okay with it too. After all, we are the people who save Ninjago city from Garmadon. So a little bit of praise won't spoil us too much.", I said as I open two big gates that lead to a training yard, and in it was Jay, Cole, and Kai. Just my luck... Y/N tried her best to keep cool but immediately She began to freak out and fangirl. "OH MY GOSH", she said as she ran up to Jay, "YOUR JAY THE MASTER OF LIGHTNING, CAN YOU SHOCK ME????!!!!". "I think he already did...", mumbled Cole from a distance. OMG!!!!! YOUR COLE, MASTER OF EARTH, CAN I TOUCH YOUR HAMMER?!?!?!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!".
