Feeling hurt that Lloyd forgot to come over, I sat there surrounded in my sorrow. Lloyd soon after got up then summoned his dragon.

"Well Y/N, since I'm here I might as well show you my gift," he said as he held his hand out to me. With an apologetic look in his eyes, I smile then accept.

He hauls me onto the back of his dragon and we take off at full speed.

As we fly through the clear night sky among a thousand stars.

Thinking of how far off the ground we were, I latched onto him tighter because of the fear of falling. "Lloyd?" I ask in a small voice.

He turned around seeing how worried I was and then he slowed down the flying pace of his dragon.

"Thanks" I reply, with a sigh of relief. Lloyd chuckled a little bit and continued flying.

Within a matter of seconds, we arrived at a steep, rocky cliff that overlooked the beach and its grand and glorious waves.

We landed in a patchy area with grass that reaches to my knee.

Seeing how close the cliff was, insight, as soon as we landed I began to run towards it.

But as soon as I was halfway there, I tripped on something in the high waving grass.

Just as I was about to fall, face first, Lloyd caught me just in time. "Are you okay?" he asked with worry.

Still feeling upset about earlier I let some of that anger out. "I don't know...am?" I replied as I huffed angrily.

To my surprise, Lloyd laughs, then lifts me off of my feet. "You're cute when you're angry" he coos, as he carries me to the edge of the cliff.

"Sure..." I say sarcastically. Lloyd looks at me with a smile. "It's true!" he argued.

Lloyd looked down to take a look at what I tripped on. I look down as well, only to see a present, with my name inscribed on it.

Surprised, I gently pat his chest, indicating him to put me down.

Once my feet were on the ground again I bent down to lift up the tag to see who it was from.

Lloyd...

Given, that the present was wrapped in my favorite color I look up at him seeing him make his 'I wonder who that gift is for' look.

Rolling my eyes playfully, I open the box seeing a ball of fluff curled together tightly, with a little blanket laid on top of it.

As if it heard me mentally aww, it stretched out it's four little paws and opened its eyes.

"Aww," I say as I gently take the puppy carefully out of the box.

I immediately grab the blanket and wrap the puppy in it while clutching it tightly to my chest.

Once I was done I walk up to Lloyd, holding the puppy like a baby, then pull him close by the collar.

"I'm still upset, but you really know how to make me happy you know that?" I say as I gently whisper in his ear.

As soon as Lloyd turned pink, I kiss him on the cheek and walked further to the end of the cliff.

I look back and giggled at him because he looked 'like a deer caught in headlights'.

As soon as I neared the edge I realized that in a worst-case scenario...
