Chapter - 6 Thanksgiving Feast PT- 2

Your P.O.V

Just as Kai rolled up his sleeves Master Wu came to him. "Better not start what cannot be finished today", he said as he rests his hand on his shoulder. Kai grumbled something then left the kitchen. And with that, I opened the granola bar package and began to eat. When suddenly a phone began to ring. "I'll be right back, I gotta take this...", Lloyd said as he took out his phone. "Okay", I said as I ate another bite of my granola bar.

Lloyd left the kitchen as well leaving me with Master Wu and Cole. Just as I was about to take my last bite Cole sat down on the bar stool that was on the left side of mine. And seeing that I had nothing better to do might as well get to know them.

"Cole right?", I said as I slam dunked the wrapper into the trash.

"Yeah", he said as he took off his headphones.

"What's it like to have super strength?, A-and wield a hammer....not to mention playing music with records.", I said talking really fast.
"Woah! Easy there, chill", he said trying to calm me.
"Sorry, I'm fangirling again aren't I?".
"Don't worry about it, I'll answer your questions". Cole cleared his throat then began to talk. "Well I guess for me having super strength is normal but sometimes I don't know the power of my own strength then end up hurting people..., but to others...I'm just the guy who does the heavy lifting", Cole scoffed a bit then looked at me.

"A-And what's it like to w-wield a hammer?", I say as calmly as possible.

"It's pretty sweet (just like cake) cause I can swing my hammer around (like a record) and smash it down on my opponent", he said as he re-enacted it.

"What about playing music with rec---", I say before being interrupted. "I'm back....", Lloyd says as he tucks his phone into his pocket. Master Wu leaves the kitchen. Lloyd then looks up and see that Cole and I were sitting together. "What you guys talking about....", Lloyd says as he takes a seat on a stool, at the right of mine. "I was just asking Cole a few questions...", I said as I smirk at Cole. I decided that maybe if I can get a little revenge on Lloyd that would be my greatest victory yet. "What about me?", Lloyd says as he looked me in the eyes. I get trapped in his gaze then snap back to reality. "What about you?...", ask back in a sly voice. Cole laughs a bit. "I'll leave you two lovebirds to it then. I wouldn't wanna get in your way now", Cole said as he got up and left the kitchen smirking a bit.

Lloyd and I sat there in a bit of awkwardness when he let's out a long disappointing sigh. "Actually Lloyd...I do have a question for you.". Lloyd looks up at me hopefully. "What is it?", he said not managing to keep his cool. "How did you and the rest of the team find the time to rescue the people—including myself—from Garmadon?, And why didn't you tell me he was your dad?!". Lloyd takes a breath then began to talk. "First of all, I didn't tell you he was my dad because, I had just met you and the last thing I needed was sarcasm from another student, 'thanking me' for bringing Garmadon here...". A brief silence filled the air.

Lloyd's P.O.V

I pause a bit, refraining from my sentence. "A-And the reason we found time to attack was because when you started to yell it bought me enough time to distract him with a nose dive while I signaled Kai to make a smoke screen, Cole to make the explosion that added dust to the smoke to make it thicker, Zane to interrupt the copter blades communication—seeing that he's a robot and all—And Nya to cut the people loose while Jay took them to safety.". Y/N looked at me in shock and amazement, then she looked away from me, turning her head a little.

"Jay surely made sure I was safe alright...", Y/N mumbled as I laughed a little, "How can I possibly be safe if I'm at the edge of a building ready to fall?". "Well I caught you didn't I?", I say with sly, smirk on my face. Y/N blushes a little. Just as she was about to say something Zane called from the dining room. "The food is ready!!!", he shouted as he takes the salad out of the fridge and puts it on the table. "Looks like we better go before Zane loses his 'cool'....". Y/N giggles a bit then followed me to the dining room. Her laugh is so cute....probably the best laugh I've ever heard.
