"Cut. Okay guys, this is scene 7, so make sure you guys practice kissing also off rehearsals so that you guys have chemistry, after all, you two are dating, right?" Mr. Miller commands, and I had an awkward feeling inside.

"Um, we aren't dating actually. I have a girlfriend," Johnny says, and you could see the disappointment scattered on his face.

"Well, you two have to figure out a way so that we have a good play. Okay? Okay. Resume on Vincent and Frances about to kiss," Mr. Miller resumes.

Johnny held my cheek, and slowly leaning in and closed the gap between us. His kisses were different— a good different. Possibly better than all Hayden's kisses. The kiss was slow and passionate, and I had released a silent sigh of satisfaction. I could hear Mr. Miller saying something I couldn't catch, just because I just wanted to appreciate this moment.

"Hello?" Mr. Miller snaps, going right in front of us. I quickly pull away.

"You two went on a bit too long. Don't do that on the play, but, great chemistry between you two! You guys really seemed to enjoy it, and Mackenzie, please do mind to make your noises a bit more silent. Okay, end of rehearsals. Keep practicing that scene 7," Mr. Miller says.

"You're a good kisser," Johnny says, scratching the back of his neck.

"You're even better," I say under my breath.

"Okay! Johnny lets go to my house," Nadia suddenly comes in.

"Oh, Nadia, sorry but I need to practice for the play. We had shortened rehearsals today," Johnny says.

"Oh, okay." Nadia replies and walks out.

"I just didn't want to hang out with her," Johnny whispers and proceeds with a chuckle. I laugh back.

"You two lovebirds really need to go," Mrs. Andrews says, we nod, and walk out of the auditorium.

The fact that people were starting to think we were dating made me feel weird. It did seem like we were, you wouldn't really call me and Johnny just friends, and I don't blame them for thinking so.

"Hey, we have to talk," Johnny says.

"Yeah, I think we do. Your house?" I ask, and he replies with a nod.

We walk to Johnny's large house— I could tell the Orlando family was wealthy. We went up to his room, he dropped himself on his bed which made me laugh.

"Okay, sorry about that, we need to talk though." Johnny says.

"Okay, tell me." I say.

"Well, this is hard to admit but, I think I like you Mackenzie— not as a friend." Johnny admits.

"You don't have to say anything if you're not ready, I kind of already heard you, Lauren, and Annie's conversation the other day." He says.
