Chapter Eight: Flying cake

A month or so had now passed, and every day throughout this month Jungkook would sneak out of the mansion to visit the vampires.

Jungkook's mother was beginning to get suspicious of her son's 'trips to the market.' She noticed that early in the morning Jungkook would say that he was going to the market then come back home late at night.

And every time he came back home he did not have anything with him, not even a book.

She then sent Hoseok to spy on him, little did she know that Hoseok was also with Jungkook at the vampire's mansion so he told her that Jungkook sat in the library all day, reading.

She was still not convinced so she hired another maid to watch over Jungkook.

___________

"Jungkook sweety?"

Jungkook looked up from his plate an on his mother "Yes mother?"

She sent him a smile "There is someone I would like you to meet." She clapped her hands and the dining room door opened.

A girl with blonde hair, that framed her face quite good, she looked shorter than Jungkook and she was wearing a maids outfit.

Hoseok who was standing on the other side of the room stared with wide eyes and mouth open.

The maid noticed him and winked at him, she turned to Jungkook and bowed "My name is Lalisa but feel free to call me Lisa, young master."

Lisa walked over to Hoseok and silently stood beside him.

Dinner finished soon after, Jungkook being the first one to leave the table to walk up to his study.

Jungkook's personal maid and butler followed after him of course, the two servants were whispering to each other behind Jungkook.

Mostly Hoseok.

"What are you doing here?" Hoseok said in a hushed tone.

"I needed a job," Lisa answered simply "And Lady Daejung stopped me yesterday and asked me if I wanted to work for her, or mostly her son, I said no thanks first but when she said how much the salary was, I, of course, immediately accepted."

"Why do you even need money?"

"Personal." Lisa hissed back.

Jungkook stopped walking making the two servants bump into him "What are you two talking about?"

"Nothing." They said in sync.

"Do you two perhaps know each other?" Jungkook asked and walked into his study.

Hoseok clasped a hand over Lisa's mouth before she could even open her mouth. "Yes, young master, we went to the same school."

"Oh really?" Jungkook turned around to eye Lisa "Did my mother hire you to spy on me?"

"Yes, she did." Lisa said as she removed Hoseok's hand from her mouth "But don't worry I won't tell her about the mansion you keep on visiting."

Jungkook stood still for a few seconds, shocked that she knew about it.

It seemed like Lisa had read his mind because she answered him quickly after.

"I know this because I know about them, I'm a close friend of Jimin." Lisa said, picking at her nails bored, she glanced up at Jungkook "Well I must take my leave, I don't want to keep lady Jiwoo waiting."
