I woke up to someone screaming nearby.My eyes fluttered open as I recognized who exactly that voice belonged to. Getting up was a hard thing considering the wounds that covered up my whole body and upon that,the numbness because of sleeping on the cold floor all night for so long.
My head spinned as I got on my all fours and tried to put pressure on my feet but in vain.I soon collided with the ground and tears ran down my cheeks as I realized that I could be of no help to my little sister right now.
More and more screaming and then I heard her call my name and my already broken up heart broke all over again. She's expecting me to help her,and here I am,lying on the floor miserably,not being able to say a word.
I banged my fist on the ground as if to let her know that I'm listening to whatever is going on in the cellar next to mine. I was weak and so was my wolf. Its been ages since I ever felt a contact with her but my little sister Annabelle was strong enough considering how I took it upon myself to protect her from the cruelty of the deadliest Alpha.
I had long lost my wolf somewhere inside me and my ware wolf senses were almost nowhere within me but Annabelle was stronger than me.
I continued banging the floor with as much force as I could. Tears ran down my face as my heart felt dead and dark just like this cellar I was in.
The door opened and I watched as he stepped inside with his one hand curled around my little sister's hair and the other one holding a knife to her throat.
'I thought you would save her. But look at you Isabelle,you look so miserable.' his tone unforgiving as ever. He let out a low chuckle 'Look at me,trying to make you speak. Why do I always forget that you're mute huh?Do you know why Annabelle?' He obviously scratched her throat lightly as she inhaled a sharp breath.
'Isabelle get up.He's hurting me. I need you.' I heard the plea in her voice but I could do nothing. I'm a useless wreck.
I watched as Alpha James's head rolled back as he laughed with utter mockery. 'You little brat are as pathetic and miserable as her. I can't believe you two have Alpha blood. That's why I need to take over because you are weak Isabelle. You're totally not worth being an Alpha female.'
'Father trusted you.' I heard as Annabelle's sobs filled the cellar.
'He too was just as pathetic and worthless as you two. Like father like daughters.'
I couldn't stop the tears running down my face.I wanted to hold my sister and save her from this devil but I could do nothing.
'You make the choice Isabelle. I've given you enough time. Either you become my mate and bear my pups and be the Luna and never utter a word.' and then if he realized his words he laughed 'oh you won't ever say a word.You're mute.'
