This was it. Today was the day. As soon as I woke up I knew something was bound to happen today. It was just my heart and brain running with thousand of thoughts in a second. My nerves were going all haywire. I had to take deep breaths in order to calm myself down. Last night we slept in my room as we had the most out of our time left together considering we might find our mates tonight and then we'll have to stay by their sides all the fucking time.We did each others nails,played some stupid games,talked a lot,and most of all we wondered if we'll find our mates or not. Actually they did as I was too busy thinking about things which the girls were not even considering.
What if I find my mate. The thought scared the shit out of me. Will he accept me for who I am?The mute weak and pathetic girl who was held captive most of her life,tortured and abused unconditionally and the one who wasn't even able to save her own sister who lost her life in front of her. Who had no chance of survival until the South pack came for her rescue. Who have nightmares every night and wakes up to sweating and panting heavily and can't go back to sleep after that. For whom every normal thing is a huge issue. Who is mesmarized by even the tiniest of things and who is mute. Who has a pack to get back to. Who has to get better and strong to go back and claim what's hers. Who is desperate to put his captor through same torture he used to put her through.
I can't think of having a mate right now. Although this isn't something I can control and is bound to happen if this is what Moon Goddess wants for me. But for all I know,I'm not ready. If under any circumstances I happen to find my mate today in this pack,all I wish is that he understands me and supports me so I could get back to my pack as soon as possible.
Being in South pack is the first normal thing I had in years. Although I've heard that finding your mate is everything for you but I still have to cherish whatever I have here in my life right now.
