"Ned, I told you, I can't finish your new x-wing Lego set tonight," said Peter over the phone.
"Yeah, I know Peter, but I was hoping that you could come AFTER the mission."
"Ned, I told you already! I'll come if I have time. Now, I got to go. Happy's calling." Peter lied.
Peter hung up the phone and turned to his suit. He hasn't worn the suit since after the Infinity War. "Let's get suited up," he whispered to himself.
He used his web fluid to sneak out of the house late at night. Aunt May sure is okay with him working for Tony Stark, but she hates when he gives him late-night mission.
"It's a school night, Peter, and if you want a chance with a good college, you need to stop staying out late," she always says.
Peter started his senior year two months ago, and he still has no idea where he wants to go for college.
"I don't even need to go to college Aunt May! With this career, I won't need any other career," he often fights back.
"Now, Peter. I promised your parents I would take good care of you, and college is going to help your career more than ever, so there will be no fuss about it, do you understand me?"
Peter awoke from his flashbacks to see a mysterious man sneaking behind a lamp-post. He stopped to get a better look.
"Hey Karen, turn on ultra-hearing radiation."
"Dude. You said you would bring the items here. Where are they?" said the mysterious man.
He continued pacing back and forth around the lamp-post. Peter could detect he was starting to get uneasy and angry.
"I have been waiting all week for those stones, and you say you can't make it tonight?"
Peter stepped back into the shadow. He figured because he had no information or intel about the man, he would come back tomorrow and see if the man he was talking to came back.
As Peter stepped back, he heard something come from the man that made him stop.
"Yes, man. I told you fifteen times already, I'm by main street. Yes, bring the stones." He watched as the man hung up and told himself. "I'll FINALLY be able to take down the Avengers."
Then Peter heard a truck engine's exhaust soaking through the atmosphere. It was the seller.
When the two men were coordinating prices, Peter jumped onto the truck and uncovered the blanket with stones underneath it. Peter couldn't believe it. It was radiator rocks. Rocks that had the power to seep through any armor. With these, there'd be enough rocks to kill every last Avenger. Peter took a sample so he could show Stark and put it in his pocket.
Peter started jumping up, but quickly, he felt a quick burn that sent him crashing down. The radiator rocks seeped through his pocket and burned the side of his waist. He quickly took the rock out of his pocket and through it at the two men, creating a diversion. However, he missed. And even worse, the his waist wasn't getting any better. Peter stood up and started running as fast as he could.
"Hey! HEY!" yelled the seller. "Don't let him get away!"
At this point, the buyer and the seller chased him. They didn't want him to know about these rare killing devices.
Peter was grasping at his waist and using every last of his energy to use his web fluid to make it back to the Avengers building.
He lost track of the two men, but he didn't really care. As far as he knew, they probably are hiding out in the bushes waiting for him to show his face. He finally made it to the Avenger building's helicopter landing pad and fell right there and passed out.
