✧ A Partner in Crime ✧

Peter opened his eyes. He wasn't at the landing pad. It wasn't nightfall anymore. Instead, it was the morning and Peter Parker was in a white bed in a large white room. 

"Oh! Peter. Glad to see you're up," said a faint voice in the other side of the room. Peter turned his head slightly to see the man who was accompanying him in the room. Peter sat up, but instantly groaned.

"Peter, take it easy. You've just entered the recovery stage." said the man.

Peter squinted his eyes to facially recognize the man. It was Mr. Stark.

"Where am I?" Peter whispered.

"You're in the infirmary, Peter," Mr. Stark said to him. He took off his glasses and took a few steps closer to Peter. "Happy found you on the landing pad when he was on his way to a meeting. He called me and told me that you looked severely burned." Mr. Stark started approaching the bed with bigger steps. "Do you care to tell me what happened last night?"

Peter gulped and began to start talking.

"I found a seller. He was selling these radiator rocks. The buyer said he would use them to finally take down the Avengers," said Peter.

"Uh, huh. And where exactly did you get the burn?"

"Well, I grabbed one and put it in my pocket to show you and it burned me. I had to escape because they saw me."

"Peter! I told you not to go on any unsupervised missions!"

"Yes, and I know! It's just, we NEED to find who is selling these rocks. These could be a danger to the entire team! Including you.."

"You could've led them to the new Avengers building! I didn't spend millions of dollars on this facility just for some rugged man to blow it up again! Peter, I'm beginning to think I can't trust you anymore," Mr. Stark took a breathe. "You either quit the team or get a partner."

Mr. Stark left the room and Peter grasped at his waist. He tugged on the hospital gown and took a quick look at the burn. It was like their was a geostone implanted in his waist.

A geostone is a type of stone that creates radiator rocks. They have the power to seep through anything. They are a solid, but when in contact of any item, human, or object, they turn into a liquid causing massive radiation and severe burns. 

Peter took a breathe and laid back down on the bed. What could Mr. Stark meant when he said get a partner?
