☆ Prologue ☆

The blimp on the screen showed another sign of supernatural powers occurring in the interstate.

"Code 90 - I repeat, code 90," said Chief Marcos. "We've got a blimp matching superior and supernatural powers attacking in a small household. We need everyone to suit up for this. The percentage of power in this human being is off the charts."

"We're on our way." said Officer Davidson. 

Police sirens roared over the sound of cars honking right here in the Bronx, NY. The officers approached the doorstep, suited up, with their guns in hand. 

"Alright, on the count of three: 1, 2, 3...." the officers broke down the door. They all followed in, coming into a house with broken lamps, broken windows, broken glass, and much more. Blood trailed into a small bedroom with white shag carpet. The officers heard a voice trembling behind the dresser.

"Come out..." they yelled. "Come on. We won't hurt you," their New Jersey accents sunk through the ears of the trembled man behind the dresser. An officer approached him and signaled for backup behind him just in case he was the blimp on the screen. 

Officer Davidson approached the man very carefully.

"What is your name?" he said, softly.  The man was slowly testing his patience. He returned to looking at his knees. "I repeat - WHAT IS YOUR NAME?" The man looked up from his knees and whispered: "Shh, she's still here." 

"Who? WHO'S STILL HERE?" 

All of a sudden, the door behind them shut. Two officers went to break it down, but it was locked. 

"Sir, we are locked in here." Officer Michaels said. 

"Nonsense, break down the door! Find the girl!!" Officer Davidson ordered. "On the count of three, break down the door: 1, 2, 3....." The door opened in front of them before they could even make contact with the oak door. They all fell through to a little girl shooting lasers out of her eyes. 

"I..I didn't mean to. I fought back, I fought back!!!" she yelled.

"You fought back who?" said Officer Davidson.

"Dad. He was abusive, so I fought back but I didn't mean to do any of this!!!"

"Take her away, boys."

"Nooooooo!!! Noo!! Dad!!!! Let.. GO... of MEEE!!!"

She zapped all three officers and ran back into the bedroom. 

"Tony? This is Officer Davidson. Send backup please."
