6 hours before, Travis Craig, a probably teenage version of Fredrick Craig went home from school and ran upstairs to his room. Their maid was on a leave so nobody cares. He opened up one of his drawers, there’s where an old photo album. He opened it up, it says “I love you Travis!” Tears lightly touched his cheeks. He turned a page, it shows a family picture, just like the one on his dad’s office. He cried as if he lost everything in the world.

Tears are splattered throughout his bed, he felt as if the whole world’s going down, he cried like a child that lost his teddy bear, as if somebody ruined his whole life. He lost his childhood ever since her mom died. He’s beaten up by his fears.

He turned to the second page. It shows a letter that was written 10 years ago by his mother. It says,

“To my dearest son,

Happy Birthday! This probably will be the corniest thing you’ll read, I LOVE YOU! Whatever age you are in you will always be my baby! Now your turning six, I want to tell you that I will never leave you alone. You probably don’t get any of these, now I want you to keep this letter until you grow old enough to understand this.

Also I want you to promise me that you will never forget to make food for your father every time your birthday comes.

Love,

Mom,”

He kept on crying while reading the laminated letter; he laminated it so that tears that come from his stressed eyes won’t be able to ruin it. None of his mom’s pictures are displayed at their home, his dad took them down.

After his emotional breakdown, he went to their kitchen thinking “I will only do this for mom.” he made dinner for himself and for his dad. He was filled with hatred towards his dad, for many reasons.

After dinner, he went to the couch, played video games while waiting for his dad. He was hoping that Fredrick will invite Travis to eat dinner with him.

Hours passed by like a fly. His dad’s home, Fredrick’s stressed face annoys him so when his dad went to the bathroom for a shower. He climbed upstairs and went to his room.

Suddenly his phone rang, he checked who’s calling “Angela”, his girlfriend, and his dad never really met her because he’s too busy running their business. He answered the call.

‘Happy Birthday Travis’ these words made him smile.

‘Thanks,’

‘So you want to come over?’

‘I’d love to, but I can’t’

‘Why not?’

‘I just want to be alone for now okay?’

‘Fine then!’ she hung up to Travis because of disappointment.

He just shook his head and pretended like nothing happened.

Suddenly somebody was banging his door. It was his dad.

‘Aren’t you going to clean that mess?!’ he growled. ‘Do you think I’ll clean that fucking mess?!’ he continued.  Travis knew this will happen, it just goes over and over again. Travis thought this would happen the different way but it didn’t. He was tired of this kind of drama so he grabbed his bike and went to his girlfriend’s condo unit. She was surprised that he came so he’s kind of thankful that he came.

“Finally some fun,” she thought.
