In this book we will jump around a little. Usually tackling the easy stuff first. Hebrews simplest and most common verbs though is the QaL(easy) aka Pa7aL. So we will definitely start with that.

OK so we need to realize patterns. Let's deal with the most obvious first. Hebrews simplest and most common verb is the Pa7aL. It's just a common verb and notice it has two 'a' vowels. The next most easy verb is the HiTPa7eL. The HiT gives it away. It is reflexive. Say "I HIT myself". that should remind you that HITpa7el is reflexive. OK since Pa7aL is the easiest let's take care of the one associated to it: the NiF7aL. The NiF7aL is the same as the Pa7aL but passive. Think of falling on your KNEES! The next easiest are 5 & 6. Notice HiF7iL & HaF7aL, our two causatives, both have an H prefix as well as duplicate vowels. That makes it pretty easy. Notice our final two intensive verb patterns have no prefix attached to them and they both have mixed vowel patterns. The best I can think of to make these vowel patterns more memorable is to associate them to two Hebrew nouns with the same vowel pattern. So KiXe4 is chair, like Pi7eL. 7uGaH is cake, like Pu7aL. Imagine a cake(7uGaH) eating a chair (KiXe4). Now this is very intense, so it should remind you that Pi7eL and Pu7aL are intensive. Pretty neat! Now that wasn't so hard was it?
