Talking to Luke

LUKE'S POV

I was walking into the crimelab because I was talking to Chris and he said that Emily was in town. I get out of the elevator when I hear yelling and I immediately know it's Emily. I walk in and she's punching Eric. "Emily...?" I questioned. "Oh my god Luke!" Em exclaimed and ran and jumped into my arms. "Hey lolli what's wrong?" I asked concerned. "We sorta need to talk and it's not gonna be pretty Brownie" she replied. We looked around the room and saw the CSI's with solemn looks and others that I am guessing is the FBI with quizzical looks. Emily glared at the FBI people and before she noticed I noticed blood trickling down her arm and I knew what that meant. "Em.. blood" I whispered quickly grabbing her arm and running. "You stabbed yourself again didn't you?" I asked and she nodded as her answer. I redid her bandage and she sighed. "Lolli I need to go but I will be back and we can have that talk okay?" I questioned but also commanded. She nodded and went upstairs.

6 minutes later:

I walked into the lab and pulled Emily into the conference room. "What have you got Luke?" she asked. I pulled out alcohol wipes and she let out a slight whimper. "You know I have to do this and then you are going to go and see Alexx" I told her and she nodded. I felt really bad but it needed to be done I pulled out a wipe and took the bandage off. I swiped the wipe over the wounds and she choked back a cry. After 2 minutes she finally let out a muffled scream and I started crying. I stopped and pulled her into a giant bear hug.

EMILY'S POV

Once Luke finished wiping my wound he took me to go see Alexx. "Hey Alexx" Luke said politely. "Hey sugarplum how are you?" she replied with a smile. "Good you?" he also returned. "I'm very well" she replied honestly. "And the kids?" Luke was babbling on like he just forgot me. "Yeah they're really good." she looked at me and frowned. "Okay this isn't just a family reunion what is goin' on?" she questioned. "Show her Em" Luke looked at me and I glared at him. "No Luke I need to talk to you about something REALLY! important and all you're worried about is my stab wound" I shot back. Alexx looked at me and I quickly showed her. She stitched me up and I went to the crimelab with Luke by my side. "Hey guys is there anything you need me to do?" I asked the BAU and CSI's. "Yeah tell us the truth!" Hotch demanded. I went pale. It was like I was 7 years old and disobeying Jay again. I turned to Luke and he went into protective mode. The CSI's noticing this also seeing my reaction and Luke going into protective mode made Calleigh speak up. "Come on guys. We have a serial killer to catch. Luke you and Em REALLY! need to talk" I just nodded and everyone left except for Luke.

"Okay Luke you might wanna sit down" I told him firmly. "What's up Em?" he questioned. "Okay so the team knows that I personally know one of the victim's but they don't know how" I replied with tears threatening to fall. "Lolli who is it?" he questioned solemnly. "Brownie it's Adelle" I spat out now crying into his shoulder and he was crying too which made us cry harder. "The team doesn't know she's my daughter." I told him. He nodded because Luke is Adelle's dad. Not biologically because that's Jay. I ran away met Luke and put him down as the father. Me and Adelle have always been in contact and she knew what the situation was.

The 2 teams walked in and the BAU started asking questions. "PRENTISS! I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD YOU NEED TO TELL US WHAT IS GOING ON!" Hotch yelled. "FINE YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. ONCE I GOT RAPED I RAN MET A GUY HAD A BABY AND NOW SHE'S DEAD. YES ADELLE MAY MITCHELL IS MY DAUGHTER AND THIS IS HER FATHER. NOT BIOLOGICALLY BECAUSE THAT'S JAY AND I JUST HAD TO BREAK HIS HEART. NOW IF YOU WILL EXCUSE ME AND LUKE WE ARE GONNA GO AND CATCH THIS FUCKING SON OF A BITCH!" I screamed back and walked out with Luke at my side. We grabbed all the evidence, logs, diaries of the victims, maps, locations, DNA, Trace and Weapon reports and walked to the hummer.

DEREK'S POV

We were all standing there shocked. Even the CSI's assisting on the case looked stunned. "WOW! I have never seen her break like that unless it was at Jay but she learnt pretty quickly to shut her mouth and not say a word" Eric told us breaking the silence. "I can't believe that the night we went to check up on her and Jay and we had to kick the door in that we didn't believe her when she told us what he did when we saw the bruises around her arms" Calleigh replied. I started pacing the room and when I looked into the conference room I noticed something. "Guys Luke, Emily and ALL! the evidence has gone" I spoke up. "We always do a second copy of all our results so we do have stuff to go on" Horatio spoke punching the wall one last time. Natalia went and got the boxes of evidence and laid it out on the table so everyone could see.
