Derek's POV
When we walked into my office we didn't expect to see what we saw. We saw Emily on the floor covered in bruises and blood. It was obvious that she was abused by her mother and raped in the process. I didn't know what to say or do.Emily looked up with tears rolling down her face and you could tell she was very embarrassed on what had happened and that her team had to see her like that. "Can you guys please help me up?" Emily asked in a whisper. I ran to her side and picked her up bridal style. "Em I'm so sorry I should've protected you" I said with tears stinging my eyes. I felt bad for what happened. "D I'm fine but can you please put me down now?" She politely commanded and I followed her order. Once she was on the ground she nearly fell but caught herself up and left the room with a shocked team standing in a semi circle not knowing what to do with themselves. "What do we do?" JJ asked whilst sobbing into Garcia's shoulder whilst Garcia was doing the same to JJ. "Nothing" I replied through gritted teeth. "Why?" Garcia asked with her tear stained face glaring at me. "Babygirl we have to let her be and she will cope with it her own way. She has been getting abused since she was 4 years old."
Emily's POV
Oh my god! how fucking embarrassing was that! my friends and colleagues walking in to see that I'd been raped and abused. I knew she hadn't left and that she was in the bullpen or in Hotch's office! oh I was right, shes sitting in the middle of the bullpen. "Get out! Now!" i growled "Fine but ease consider helping me with Jay?" Elizabeth pleaded "Ok let me think about it... NO!" I'm ready to snap and it's not going to be pretty. with that Elizabeth left and I hid in the one place no one knew about! The gymnastics arena! No one knew that I did gymnastics and I want it to stay that way but it will come out soon. I can't imagine the pain that I am putting the team through and I feel like a fucking piece of shit!
DEREK'S POV
Oh god all I wanna do is wrap Em in my arms and make out with her and let her know that she's not alone but I know I need to be patient with her and let her come to me when she's ready to talk and we're all trying to find her but Em is the ambassadors daughter and probably has hiding places that no one knows about so our job just got harder because we can't start the case with out her.
