"STOP hogging all the snacks, you fat ass!" Jakob laughed, taking the chips from Liam's lap, grabbing a few.
"Ouch, rude. I can't believe you just called me that!" Liam replied, faking a hurt expression.
Jakob just rolled his eyes, before turning on the turn signal and going into a different lane as they made their way to Colorado. It had just turned eight o'clock, and they were getting closer to the state.
Liam was angry at the people who hurt Theo, but he was also a little hurt that Theo waited a month to tell him what happened. They were definitely going to pay for what they did to his boyfriend. They're going to wish they never touched him.
"You know," Jakob started, looking over at Liam, "when I pictured us going on a road trip, it never involved you beating some dickwad's asses."
"You pictured us going on a road trip?" Liam asked, completely ignoring the rest of what his best friend had just said.
"Well, duh! Best friend road trips are the bees knees."
"Please never say 'bees knees' again." Liam laughed, taking the bag of chips from Jakob. "And never take a man's chips!"
"Since when did you become a man?" He joked.
"I hate you, you know that?" Liam said, rolling his eyes as he popped a few chips into his mouth.
"Love you, too, Daisy!"
That made Liam smile, and right when he looked out the window, the sign that said Welcome to Colorado appeared right in front of them.
"So, are you going to tell Theo your plan?" Jakob asked.
"I don't know, and it's not really a plan. I'm just going to put the fear of God into those jackasses." Liam replied, looking at Elias, "Do you think I should tell him?"
"I mean, yeah. He deserves to know."
"Dammit, I was just going to go to the warehouse that Theo told me about a year ago and beat the living hell out of them." He said.
"Okay, but who the hell lives in a warehouse? I mean, seriously... that's just weird." Jakob laughed, grabbing his water and taking a long swig.
"You're telling me." Liam said, running his fingers through his hair.
Jakob turned onto a different road, realizing that it was Theo's aunts street. He started to get nervous, like it was the first time meeting his boyfriend all over again, but he was also freaking out because Theo had no idea he was coming and he wouldn't be happy with him once he found out the reason he was even in Colorado.
But there was a time when Gabe was bullying Liam, and Theo beat the shit out of him for doing so. Theo protected him, so it was Liam's turn to protect him.
He didn't care if Theo told him not to, because it wouldn't stop him for defending his boyfriends honour. Theo meant the world to Liam, and he hated when he was hurting.
Jakob turned into the driveway, shutting off the engine and looked at Liam. "Okay, you go tell Theo and I'll stay here, giving you moral support from afar." He said, smiling.
Liam rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Wish me luck." He replied, opening the door to the car before getting out.
"Good luck!" Jakob yelled as Liam walked further from the black Jeep.
He sighed, heading up the stairs of the house, standing there for a few minutes, staring at the door. He was anxious as hell and he was debating on just going back to the Jeep, telling Jakob to leave before anyone noticed and just do what he came here to do. But he knew he'd have to tell Theo sooner or later.
So why not now?
He knocked, waiting for an answer. When no one did, he knocked again.
Finally, the door swung open, revealing the boy who Liam has missed so damn much. Theo looked at him, completely in shock. He took a step forward, running his fingers over Liam's cheek.
"Are you real or am I just imagining things?" He asked, confused.
"It's me, T. I'm really here." He said. That made Theo smile wide and before Liam could say anything else, he was embraced into Theo's arms.
"Oh, my god. I missed you so much." He whispered, breathing in Liam's scent.
The younger boy smiled, wrapping his arms around Theo's waist. "I missed you, too."
"Why are you here?" He asked once they pulled away.
"I know you're not going to like this, but I came here to teach those kid's a lesson. I just wanted to tell you before I did." Liam replied, looking at his boyfriend. Theo just smiled.
All of a sudden, Allison came walking out of the door with her bow in her hand. She gave Liam a wicked smile, pulling him into a short hug. "What took you so long? We've been waiting!"
Liam was taken aback, looking at the two. "Wait, you knew I was coming?"
"I'm not an idiot. I know my boyfriend." Theo replied, chuckling. "I had a feeling you would come here to raise hell, so we decided to help."
Allison raised her bow, looking at it before turning back towards the two boys. "I've been waiting for an excuse to use Daenerys again."
"You named your bow Daenerys?" Both Liam and Theo asked, laughing.
"Oh, shut up! So who's car are we taking? Mine?"
Liam glanced behind him, noticing that Jakob was watching the whole thing go down with wide eyes. He slowly turned back towards them, biting his lip. "Oh, actually, I brought someone with me. You know how you said you wanted to meet Elias? Well, now's your chance."
Theo's gaze went from Liam to the boy sitting in the Jeep. He smiled and waved, Elias waving back in shock.
"Okay, well, let's go! We have people to torture." Allison said.
"Okay, Alli. You sound like a damn serial killer, chill." Theo replied as they made their was to the black Jeep awaiting them.
This was going to be interesting.
