Not sure if I ever mentioned this, but I'm a literal witch. No I don't worship Satan. No I don't summon demons. No I don't have a black cat, pointy hat, or a magick broom. I use crystals and herbs mainly really. I have a pet dog, who just so happens to be black. And although I may not worship God or the devil, I do worship 2 goddesses and a god. They're all mixed together from different religions, but other witches have told me that it's fine because I'm being drawn to them for a reason.
I've been a witch for around 3 or so months now, so I'm no expert or anything, but I am good at what I do and I am pretty powerful. Anyways let's get back on topic. I recently got grounded and my mom found out about my craft. Being the surprisingly religious gay woman she is, she took away all my crystals, my wand, and my thorns that I harvested. Luckily she didn't find my herbs because I hid them. As she took them away she was telling me that, "Witchcraft is the Devil" and "Even if you think you're doing good, it's evil." and that she's, raising me with god. Even though she's clearly never even seen other Gods/Goddesses before. How I know you may ask? Because she didn't realize that she was saying all of this right in front of a little statue of one of my Goddesses, Bast. Who watched as my mom took everything from her alter and telling her worshipper that they were serving an evil being instead of her.
For those of you who don't know who Bast is, Bast is an Egyptian goddess in the form of a woman with a cat head, or a humanoid cat. I know, it sounds odd. Bast the goddess of home, fertility, protection, sun, and love. You see how my mom calling her the Devil could've offended her? *sigh*Anyways,
