Prologue

Tears slide down my swollen eyes as I look down the lake. Gusty winds brush against my flesh feeling coolness on my skin. The world is beautiful full of color and so much life, but being me it's the opposite. My body trembles from fear of what is going through my mind. I should get off this bridge now, but my heart is broken and all it wants is to no longer live in pain.

No one cares anyways.

No one loves me.

My biological parents threw me away.

I'm alone.

I close my eyes squeezing them tight as the last tears drop down my cheeks ready to go to heaven if there's even one.

I guess I'll find out. Any place is better than here.

Just as I extend my arms out ready to take the leap of my fate. I feel a strong sudden grip on my sleeved shoulder yanking me backwards into muscular arms.

As I open my eyes to see who dared intervene, I'm met with the most exotic eyes I've ever seen in my life.

Staring back at me is purple eyes.
