Snot's Point Of View
"Langley Falls police department, what is the problem" I shouldn't do this, but it's for the best "Hello, yes, I know where the missing teenagers. They're in Allegany, Maryland, the alley next to the old candy factory." The buzzing of the phone takes over, before the operator spoke once more " Okay sir, thank you for this information. May I ask yo- " The call cut off, I turned around to see Steve with tear streaming down his face, then hitting against the ground. "Steve" I reach out to grab him, but he pulls back away " Don't 'Steve' me, I'm done ". Oh God, " Steve we need this " he turned around to look at me, the scuffle of his shoes grinding inside me head " We need this, or just you? " I hate seeing him cry, but we can't keep running away from our problems, it doesn't work like that.
Stan's Point Of View
I don't know if I should go back to looking for Steve, I know I'll just end up hitting the kid, I don't want that for him- RIIIIIING . . . RIIIIING, who's that? I head towards the phone, with some hope that Steve is calling, but once I see the number, I know it's not him. "Hello?" Ah yes, a classic 'hello' as always, me.
" Hi, is this, Mr. Smith?" Oh, it is for me,
" In the flesh and blood " wow, that's 'original' " Hello, this is the Langley Falls, Police Department, calling about Steve " STEVE! " Oh yes, of course, did you find him?! " will I see my kid again? " We have an anonymos tip on where they are. Would you like to come with? " well . . .
" Of course I do ".It took only ten minutes to get to the police department, and zero time was wasted; the second I checked in they put me into one of the cars, and headed towards Steve and Snot. I would I have told Snot's mother, but she wasn't home when I checked. As long as I get the kids back it's worth it. Then remembering all of the trouble Steve had put me through, I mean I have done so many things to try and get him back! Anger started to build up, I know I should be happy I'm getting him back, but what's wrong with him, he had a house, water, food, and a great life! Why the hell would he leave, he just an ungrateful twat. I should have given him to his mother, she's also an ungrateful bitch, they would go perfect together, they could be on the front of magazines titled 'America's most ungrateful family'.
Steve's Point Of View
"Steve please listen!" Snot was trying to convince me to just go home, but I didn't go this far to quit, I grabbed my bag and started walking off. "It's too late, the Maryland police have most likely already been contacted. I began walking off until the sound of sirens could be heard, before I knew it both Snot and I were dragged into a cop car. "Steven, your father is at the station. Shmuley, your mother is on her way." I leaned my head against the window, continplating every single decision I've ever made, it will all be over soon. I still love Snot, but I can't live like this anymore, I can't take anything back ether, what's done is done.
The police station comes into sight, and the tightening sensation in my chest grew stronger as we got closer to the building. The car stopped right in front of the station, both Snot and I hopped out of the car, heading inside. Automatically Snot's mother ran up to him and kissed him all over his face, murmuring something I couldn't understand. I had forgotten my father was there until I felt something grab me by my ear and drag me out of the police station. Knowing far too well it was my father, I didn't say anything, just let myself be thrown around like a rag doll. About an hour into the drive, my father started to lecture me about how stupid I was, and everything I put him through, and he was right, I'm just a nuisance to have around. I won't be in his hair for long, he's struggled enough with me. A buzzing sound goes off under my seat, my dad told me to pick up he phone while he was driving, when checking the collar ID, I realised it was Roger. I answered the phone to be greeted by a distressed Roger.
"Oh Stanly, please tell me you are bringing home chocodiles!"I laugh at Roger's obsession over a chocolate crocodile. "Roger it's, Steve" there was a slight pause until Roger finally spoke. "Steve, there better be chocodiles in that damn car!" I looked around seeing no bag. "I don't think so, Roger" A long exaggerated sigh emitted from the other side of the phone. "Fiiiiiiiiinnne, bye" I heard the phone beep meaning the call finished. As we were getting closer to home, I felt pain in a lot of areas, the first being my wrist, tracing all the stupid mistakes I've made, then while looking at my thighs I remembered it all, my father hitting me just because he approved of a relationship. Are you fucking kidding me? He couldn't just accept his own kid! No gay guys like him, I'm not going around and having sex with every guy in town, so what the hell is his problem? I already know the gate that lies ahead of me when we reach home.
We pulled into the drive way, it felt almost a similar as when he first found out I love Snot, we drove home from school, the anger already boiling inside of him, just like old times. The door had been left unlocked, making if breezy to get in. I kept my head down and made an attempt to get upstairs, but it was no use, the grip of strong hand pulled me back by the hood, throwing me to the ground. "Where do you think you're going? I haven't seen you in weeks!" The yells echoed through out the living room, "I'm sorry" He grabbed the collar of the hood and pushed me into the wall, legs flailing, arms trying to get him to let go. "Oh you're sorry, of course Steve, you ran away, sorry was all I needed to hear, guess you're in the clear!" He spat in my face.
There it was, the final sign, the last words.
