Chapter Three:

***Flashback

James P.O.V.

"Hey, Jack, I'm bringing you a present, and I think you'll like it, do me a favor and give her a warm welcome, I think you know what I mean?" I chuckled and ended the call.

***Present Day... (Inside their head quarters in school)

"Ahhhh, I’m sorry, ok, I’m sorry... I... I uhh - -." Jack whimpers, trying to get up.

"Why the hell did you do that, huh? Weren't my instructions clear enough? I told you to scare her not to mol- -, uhhh never mind." James replies, as he wipes down sweat forming on his forehead.

"Look, I'm sorry, James. I thought you meant to - -." Jack tries to defend himself.

"Shut up, asshole, how dare you talk back to me, hold him still." James ordered. Slowly he positions himself, one of his apprentices hands him over a golf club. He swung it over just enough and whoosh. After teaching him a lesson, Jack was released from the grasps of his apprentices. By now he had bruises everywhere and was limping.

"Now where were we?" James innocently asks, with a grin forming through his mouth.

James P.O.V.

I was sitting on the couch with Dean and Mason. I could hear them talking or was it murmuring something, but my mind was fixated with something else.

"Hey James, James!! Jame - -." Dean shouts, hovering his hands in front of me.

I caught his hands and shove it away. “What!?" I asked a bit annoyed.

"James, we've been trying to get your attention, dude!?" "What’s up?" Mason answers.

"Oooh - -" I chuckled.

Both of them looked at each other with their eyebrows raised up.

I rolled my eyes. "I’m thinking about that Finch girl, ha! Did you see her reaction?" I said chuckling.

"Reaction about what?" They both ask.

"The cafeteria, remember?!" I said.

"Ooohhh" Both answers, nodding to each other.

"What?!" I ask annoyed.

"Nothing" Dean answers.

"Really, what?" I ask now really annoyed and curious.

Both of them start to laugh.

I was about to throw a pillow to Dean when -

"Ok, ok, do you like her?" Dean questions, raising an eyebrow and acts frustrated, getting ready for interrogation. Yet I can still hear him breathing rapidly after all the laughing.

"No, hell, no" I said in a hurry.

"Why so defensive?" Mason questions, showing a pouty face.

Yeah, why am I so defensive, she's not my type? I thought.

"Look, it’s just for fun, okay?!" I said throwing the pillow to both of them.

Before I knew it, we ended up quarrelling and wrestling.

As you can see we're pretty close, aren't we... These guys are like my brothers, I'd trust them with my life. We may seem like the great, popular boys of Cambridge High but honestly if it were only us, you’d see - - Dean may be called the player in the group, but he is actually crazy, I mean who would try to sniff their own foot, to make sure you'd faint from the stink, believe me there's more to where those came from. And when it didn't work, he went on a meltdown, it took us a week to cheer him up, we had to role play fainting, and we lied that he had some super hero powers, that's why he doesn't get affected by the stink. And Mason, well he may look big and strong but he's quite soft inside. Everything seems to be right, except we're missing someone.
