Kage didn't sleep well that night so he decided to take it easy it science, not that he had a choice. Miss. Leon was in thirty and short with hair red hair in a bun. They were working on decomposing fruit and outcomes. Kage used an orange. He had to let the orange sit in some vinegar for 2 weeks, the science room wasn't smelling very pleasant. Some other students were using apples in salt, banana's in milk and whole bunch of fruits. Kage didn't really see the science in it. Everyone was sitting at their desks waiting for their results. Miss Leon was handing out the results of the assignment. Miss Leon hands Kage's without even looking at him. Kage picks up his sheet and looks at his score. 16 out of 23. Better than usual, Kage thought. Kage looks at the clock hung on the wall next to the white board. 5 more minutes. Miss Leon is out the front now, giving her annual lecture.
"I was very disapointed in some people's work. They could have done better. "
Kage is just staring at the clock, not even paying attention. The bell sounds. Kage and the rest of the class leave their seats before Miss Leon can finish. Kage walks down the hallway and heads to his locker. He spins his lock and puts all his books in and grabs his lunch and heads outside. He sits at a table under this pink tree. The pink leaves are always on the ground. Ayumi walks over and sits across from Kage.
"Kage, How long am I going to have to keep this whole teleporting thing a secret for?"
Kage looked up. "For as long as you live." Kage said as a smirk came across hus face.
"I mean. I just don't understand. How did you even get this, gift?"
"Don't know. Sort of just came to me, I guess" Kage took a sip from his soda.
"So, You can teleport, but you get migraine's if you do. Your parents don't know, because they can't handle it. You only have one friend, because your selfish and Im the only one who knows about this, beside's yourself."
Kage nodded.
"And I can't tell anyone?" Ayumi continued.
"Not a soul" said Kage as he finished his sandwich.
"Why not? Im sure I could find something or someone to fix you."
"I don't want to be fixed. But, If someone could fix this damn headaches I might be intrested."
Ayumi stared at Kage. Kage looked back waiting for a response.
"Kage. Someone has been looking for you. This guy yesterday, he kept asking about you when I was at Shinjuku square. I couldn't see his face, I couldn't see anything. He was threatning to kill my parents, I had to tell him where you lived, where you go to school even that you can, teleport."
Kage's face went blank.
"He said he won't harm me or your parents. He just said, thank you and just disapeared. I don't know if he's coming for you, I just know that some other than me knows you can teleport. So, I suggest you take care."
Kage re-focused.
"It's alright Ayumi. You did the right thing. Thank you for telling me."
Ayumi had never seen a side of Kage like this. Kage got up from the chair gave Ayumi a hug then when everyone had gone back into class, he teleported to Shinjuku square.
