Update!!
I'm sorry if I haven't updated this story for such a long time. I kinda had a writers block for this story and I worked on another story called "Bonded" which I put all my focus on making me have no time for this one at all.
But I'm going to try my best to finish this one.
I'm really sorry for all those who waited ages for me to update this one!
************************************
Bright light that seemed to be directed at me and I feel something continually brushing against my face waking me from my sleep. I tried to shift my body to cover my eyes from the light, but it was hard for me to move as if I was bounded by something.
My eyelids are heavy as if I was woken form a very deep slumber. I felt like I was living in a long dream where I was reunited with Izuku during a villain fight and we had children... How many times did this happened already?
Dreaming of him and our "what if" futures after every time I got beaten up from fighting villains.
Yaoyorozu is going to be mad at me for being reckless again. I thought expecting to wake up in one of the hospital beds and once again disappointed that everything was just an illusion of the dreams.
But there was something strange. The familiar sound of the heart monitor couldn't be heard anywhere instead I hear birds chirping. Must be all in my head.
I slowly opened my eyes. My sight was slightly blurry at first but had soon adjusted to the light.
Instead of the white cold and dead ceiling with heavy scent of antiseptics of the hospital environment, an unfamiliar wooden ceiling and floral curtain flowing in the air greeted me as I woke up. The cold wind blew through the open window of the room bringing in the fresh scent of morning dew.
Am I still dreaming?
I closed my eyes for about ten more minutes thinking that the place would change back to a hospital once I opened them again. No matter how much I wait the sound of the heart monitor was still the same as the birds chirping from the distance. To no avail it was the same place. My heart skipped a beat realizing that it wasn't a dream at all. I really met with Izuku and the kids...
"The kids!?" My eyes shot wide open remembering everything that happened before I passed out.
I sat up from where I was lying at and excruciating pain suddenly coursed throughout my whole body but was immediately replaced with surprise when a surprised Izuku who seemed to have just woken up as well met with my eyes.
We were both stunned and speechless. We were just staring right at each other not knowing what to say and after a good five minutes finally spoke
"H..hey..?" Izuku said with uncertainty "H-how are you feeling? You finally woke up"
Izuku was mumbling again but whatever he was saying seemed to be going from one ear in and out in the other.
Everything was so surreal. I still couldn't believe my eyes. I didn't care if my arms felt limp and moving was really painful.
He's right here in front of me. I want to make sure that this wasn't a dream. My vision was starting to get hazy with tears as I reach out to him.
Despite my muscles screaming from the pain, I pulled him into a embrace making him stiffen in surprise.
