Deal 7: Nagisa's 'Friends?'

After finally calming the agitated demon, Nagisa faced the audience that had been watching him appeasing Karma since earlier. 

"...What is it?"

"Nothing~"Rio grinned with her hand under her chin, already sitting on Nagisa's sofa, "We were just surprised with how sweet you two are~."

Nagisa raised an eyebrow at her and noted how Karma's hold on him tightened. He was sitting on his office chair now, but the redheaded demon refused to let go of him even once so Karma was leaning on him from above with arms around his neck. 

"That's true...I've always seen you so cold to everyone, except to the higher-ups I guess, but even when I tried to flirt to you, you're still so passive..." Hiroto halted when Karma growled again, his teeth baring as a warning. Despite it being from the past, Karma can't help from being possessive over his partner. He is his, damn it! How dare this other demon try to get close to his Nagisa?!

"Karma..." Nagisa called out helplessly with a rub to his forehead. Karma wasn't like this last night. And yes, he knew, he was the one that told Karma to be himself but still! This kind of change is too much.

"But Nagisa..." With a pout, Karma tried to inch closer but his face was met with a hand instead. Surprised, he turned to see the bluehead stopping his face from coming closer with a not too hard but still firm push. "Don't get too close, it's uncomfortable."

"Oh~? I thought you'll let him do that." Came a surprised voice from Korosensei who had been quiet the entire time. He'd been watching Nagisa's reactions closely, for he knew the boy more than the others did. It was outright weird that the agent he saw that always pushed others away suddenly let a demon he just met last night to get close to him. 

Apparently he's just tolerating him. 

"Anyways, you've been talking nonstop about meeting him. Well, here you go. Karma, introduce yourself." Nagisa pried off the arms around him and motioned for the redhead to step forward. Karma silently obeyed and bowed with his right hand on his chest. 

"Greetings, my name is Karma Akabane, Nagisa-sama's demon partner." He then stood straight and gave a polite smile to them. The trio just looked with confusion, it was as if the demon had a complete 180 degrees with his personality, which he did. 

On his chair, Nagisa glanced at Karma who was clinging to him not too long ago. The sudden turn of Karma's personality unnerved him a bit, but decided to not comment on it and just stayed quiet as the redhead reverted back to his cautious and obedient facade. Korosensei was the first to break the silence by introducing himself the same way Karma did.

"Hello Akabane-kun. I am known here as Korosensei, Nagisa-kun's mentor. Pleased to meet you." He said after standing and gave a close-eyed smile to the demon. Hiroto and Rio followed suit and thus the end of introduction without a hitch. 

"Now that that's done, Karma, follow me downstairs to fix what you've caused." Nagisa patted his suit then stood up. He waited for Karma before opening up the door and proceeding to an office where he should add Karma's info to the database as his demon. Karma, in his docile self, trudged after Nagisa without making a fuss along the way. His eyes never left the ground throughout their walk despite the initial interest he had earlier. Not being able to take it anymore, Nagisa stopped in front of Karma to question him. 

"What happened?" But much to his annoyance, Karma merely gave him a glance with a slight tilt of his head to the side. 

"What do you mean, Master?" The returned title made Nagisa more confused, but as he was about to ask again, the door behind him opened and out came a tall woman in a white formal shirt and pencil skirt.
