"Michael!" El called for her husband, Mike as they were getting ready to go out. Their twins were already in the car but Mike was taking too long doing god knows what and it got el pretty mad.
"I'm in here Jesus el wait a second!" Mike said leaving the room due him changing his shirt because he didn't like it, mostly because he wanted to impress el.
They're both 26 years old now, they got married three years ago and got the cutest baby twins ever, Olivia and Karl. El never thought her life would end up like this, end up this perfect. She loved Mike, she didn't think that boy who met her 14 years ago and basically lived in his basement would end up marrying her. And have beautiful kids with her.
"You're finally here, let's go the kids are too excited." El said heading to the door but Mike grabbed her arm. "You never call me Michael." Mike said, she really never called him Michael, ever. He knew people were mad if they called him Michael so he knew she was off about something.
"tell me what's wrong before we go." Mike said, he hated seeing el mad at him. He can't handle it. "There's nothing wrong Mike, I just wanted you to hurry up." El said giving him a sweet smile which Mike returned.
El never used her powers again, mostly because she didn't want to freak her kids out. And because she got older she'd get Tired pretty easily.
Mike and el walked to the car as Mike started driving. El checked on the kids since they were in the car alone for few minutes.
Olivia has opened the bag and ate all the eggos they got. "Olivia! What did you do?" El said. Olivia replied with just a shrug and el glanced over at Karl who was sleeping with his head leaned on the car door.
El took the box of eggos Olivia finished and showed it to Mike. "She got that from me." El said and started laughing, Mike joining her.
"She definitely got that from you." Mike said smiling at el.
They arrived at the small park they always hang out in and took the blankets out and all the food they got and placed them as they sat down. Karl woke up as him and Olivia played around with Mike and el watching them.
Mike admired el for a second, she really did change, she's got even more beautiful than she's always been. He felt it all like it was a dream he was about to wake up from, el is his world. And so are his twins.
Els facial expression changed and Mike quickly looked away, Olivia screamed at Karl knocking him over. El stood up and quickly ran to them, Mike following.
Olivias nose was bleeding and el gasped.
"Olivia? What did you do?!" El asked and Olivia looked down at Karl who had stood up completely terrified as he ran to Mike.
El took Olivia aside. "How did you do it?"
"Mommy I don't know." Was all Olivia said, el wiped the blood off her nose. "Its okay, it's okay let's go home, Yeah?" El said assuring her daughter. "Yeah." Olivia replied as they quickly headed home.
El put the kids in bed and went to her and mikes room, Mike was worried about her, he didn't want to ask or talk about it, he knew she was upset. But he needed to know why exactly.
"El? Tell Me, what's wrong?" Mike said as el sat down on the bed beside him. "Mike did you not see what I saw?" "I did see, I just wanna know why are you this upset." Mike said.
"What if something happens to her? What if she ends up like Me? What if I end up like my own mother? What if anything happens to all of us?" El said, already crying.
"Hey, hey no. Nothing is gonna happen. We're fine, we're just perfect, I'm here for you I've always been here for you el, and I'm here for Olivia and Karl." Mike said and hugged el, rubbing her back in comfort.
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
