His eyes remained on her.

Alexandria slipped on her sleek glasses as she opened up the folder with today's agenda for the session. She bit her lip, hard. Her teeth digging into her skin, hoping she could make it bleed. That pain would be better than this.

She looked up to see Christian shaking hands with a man, smiling with a look of utter respect and joy which she knew, firsthand, was fake. But though his lips were in a smile, his eyes were locked on her movements, staring her down like a raven.

She felt a vibration on the tablet sitting atop the table shocked her out of her trance. It was a page from Tanya.

Tanya Chanel Jones, United States of America
Ale.. His Royal Highness is staring at you LIKE THAT. HOLY.

Alexandria rolled her eyes, shaking her head with a small smile as she responded to her. Tanya couldn't cuss as all the messages being sent were screened but she could tell exactly what she wanted to say. Something along the lines of "bitch, what the fvck."

Alexandria Leigh-Anne Sjöberg, Great Britain
Really? I didn't notice. It's probably because I'm apart of his delegation. It's nothing more than that.

Her heart was pounding like a drum as she sent the page back in response. It was getting obvious now. It felt like it was. He was making a scene.

And she felt like all eyes were on her.

As the session began, after roll call, she sat down and opened her notebook, reading through today's issue regarding The Sokovia Accords as well as Women's Rights issues.

"Please welcome His Majesty King Christian Edward William Sharpe II of Great Britain to the podium." The voice of the announcer rang throughout the room.

Christian's name echoed inside her mind in loops, constantly pushing through every area of her skull. It made her head pound.

All she wanted to do was forget the man. That was her deepest desire as of the moment. Yet, he was always around somehow, someway. She hated it.

He began to speak. His voice was slow, precise, and deadly.

"Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. You're all looking very well today." He uttered out with impressive diplomacy.

His deep green eyes bore into Alexandria's as he spoke those words, making her shift uncomfortably in her seat.

He spoke with his hands, the enthusiasm in his voice infectious in the room. Everyone seemed very intrigued by what he had to say. Some were scribbling down notes, others were nodding along.

He was a good king. But it was hard for a good king to be a good man as well.

He must have said something about how he was working to better the economy and interests of the people of Britain, causing Alexandria to roll her eyes.

"Oh, shut the fuck up." She muttered aloud, not realizing what she had said.

The room went dead silent.

No one was speaking. All eyes were turned to her as she became self-aware of what had happened. Even Tanya, one of her wildest friends, was staring at her from across the room with her mouth agape.

"Ms. Sjöberg of Great Britain, is there something you wish to say?" Christian spoke into the microphone, the faintest issue of a smirk on his pink lips.

Speaking wasn't even his job. He wasn't supposed to address the delegates.

"I do not, Your Highness." She stuttered our in embarrassment, her face beet red.
