Shockingly enough, once Jungkook had led me to the dining room that only the leaders used, the group acted much more like brothers than the bloodthirsty members of the gang that wanted to kill me. I'd only taken a step into the room when the commotion began.

"Why the hell did you bring her?" Suga slammed down his drink and let his feet fall from the table, disgusted by my presence. I shrugged it off and stood where I was until Jin pulled out a chair for me between V and Jimin. I was hesitant to sit next to V, expecting another blow, but for some reason as Jungkook sat across from me, I let myself settle in my seat.

"Is no one going to kick the rat out?" Suga tried again after no one responded. Jimin smirked and passed a plate of meat around as though he hadn't spoken.

"You can leave whenever you want to," V said, to which Jungkook had to high-five him for. I flinched at the words, preparing myself to be blamed for the smart-ass response. Suga, without skipping a beat, stood up and snatched the first two cans of beer he could find and walked over to dump them on Jungkook and V's heads, stretching over the table just enough to get them both soaked without having to worry about ruining the food. I moved away to avoid being targeted but V shook his hair off and eventually, everyone was hit with droplets of cheap beer.

"Did you piss yourselves?" Suga asked, dropping the cans on their laps as Jin shook his head disapprovingly. V and Jungkook shared a grin and an unbothered shrug before pulling off their soaking shirts, the sound of dripping fabric mixed with the alcoholic scent in the air making for an odd combination at a dining table. I refused to glance up, focusing on my empty plate until the door opened and the room went silent, meaning that RM had walked in and clearly was not content with the scene before him.

RM sighed and took his seat the end of the table, rubbing his chin almost in exhaustion. "Do I want to know?"

Jin answered for him. "Not really."

"I just don't know why she should be here when her place is locked up in that room," Suga muttered. He raised his feet up again on the table and lit a cigarette, offering one to J-Hope before tossing the pack in the middle for anyone to take. My eyes followed the box as it landed, and my fingers twitched. It'd been a while since my last smoke.

"She's a guest doing us a favor," RM simply said, fixing his plate, "Don't you think it's polite to offer some courtesy?"

It had been a rhetorical question, so Suga only clenched his jaw and stood to stand by the window. I took the opportunity of silence to reach over and let my fingers grab the nearest plate, taking whatever my fork stabbed into. I wasn't picky. Jungkook, I guess, thought that the meat I'd taken was worth fighting over because his knife pulled it away from me as I tried to eat it, leaving me biting into thin air without much taste. I glared at him and he smirked, proud. Was it his way to always snatch things from people?

"Jungkookie, share," V sang, waving his food in front of us. I'm not really sure what clicked into place or what gave me the confidence to try, but not a second later, Jungkook and I slammed our forks together down on V's plate, stealing whatever was left. He was still shirtless, they both were, so there was a splash of sauces that went everywhere and amidst the mess, Jimin took V's drink. Even Suga bothered to glance over when he heard the silverware clattering.

V scowled and raised a fist. "What the fuck."

"TaeTae, share," Jungkook mimicked.

"(Y/n)."

I jumped as RM said my name, straightening up in my chair and putting my fork down on the table, afraid I'd overstepped my boundaries. Jungkook and V glanced over.

"Do you know how to shoot a gun?"

J-Hope chuckled when I shook my head. I pursed my lips, scanning as everyone around the table found my lack of knowledge on firearms amusing.
