(Y/N) POV
I looked at the two guards as they continued arguing about this, Orochimaru guy
"I-I'm Sorry, I ran away from home..." I said shakily
Yeah well I didn't intend on running away, but it's all I could explain
"See! There's more proof! She probably "ran away" from Orochimaru and conveniently come to the hidden leaf!" Said the guard with brown hair that was tied up.
"Oh come on! It's just a little kid! We need to tell the Hokage first anyways!" Said the taller one with white hair.
"What's a hokage?" I asked Innocently
"It's the leader of this village. But I don't have time to explain so please follow me." Explained the guard with white hair as he turned towards the gate.
"Do you have a name?" He asked quickly,
"(Y/N) (L/N)." I replied
The white haired man then looked at me with a weird look, but quickly turned away and started walking as I followed.
This guy is weird I thought as we walked through streets in what I was guessing was the village of Konoha.
As I studied them I noticed that the one with his hair up had a scar over his nose and the one with white hair had a mask
We soon arrived at a building that was familiar to me. It looked like a building at home, just couldn't remember it for a second...
"That looks like the Kazekage's office, except it says Hokage..." I thought out loud
"Well yes, that's the Hokage office. I guess he's pretty much the Kazekage just a different name." He replied
He led me to the door and took me to a door inside what looked what a office area and led me to a room.
"Wait here please." He said and entered the door at the other side of the room we were in
A few minutes later, he opened the door
"Please come in. The Hokage wants to meet you." He moved out of the way so I could enter
"Ah! Hello there young one." Greeted a man sitting at a desk.
He was wearing a a special hat that said "Hokage" on it and white robes. He looked pretty old.
"Hello..." I mumbled looking down shyly
"There's no need to be Shy." He said smiling.
"Kakashi here, has told me all about you."
I looked took a glance at Kakashi with a surprised look. I wanted to say so many things at once but the Hokage beat me to it.
"Now (Y/N), I'm going to give you two options." The Hokage said getting serious
"I know it's sudden, but would you like for me to take you back to the sand, or would you like to stay here in the leaf?"
I looked at him while thinking
If I go back to the sand, I'll have to stay in my house where the murder happened, but if I stay here then that means I'll have no one, and I'll be breaking Gaaras promise...

The Hokage cleared his throat breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Have you made your decision?" He asked
"Y-yes..." I replied shakily
"Then what do you choose?"
I thought for a few more seconds
"I choose to stay."
