Fire is greedy and never satisfied. He consumes all and never gives anything back. The more he consumes the larger and more magnificent he becomes. But the more he consumes the deadlier and terrifyingly powerful he becomes. He has no regard for others or what they want, all that matters to him is that he satisfies his own hunger. When you first meet him, he is gently flickering along tiny, fragile, and content with where and who he is. You try to help him and he begins to grow and match humans spirit and vigour, but in doing so his hunger has awaken. He wants to stay powerful and so his burning desire and passion grows and consumes everything. At first he burns you on accident, not yet realizing his true power. He begs you keep feeding him and not to leave him alone. His warmth is comforting to all and his soft glow is mesmerizing. Blinded you give in and continue feeding his burning hunger and he grows into a fiery storm that destroys you and everything you knew. He leaves you in pursuit of other satisfaction and you are left with a blackened heart. Regret follows fire's path as he indulges upon all. And you are left wishing that you could go back to the small, flickering flame that had no hunger or passion.
