Chapter 13

I was about to answer until came Audrey with the paramedics and they rushed me to the hospital.

The doctor told I was in labor and was telling me I am fully dilated.

I started crying because I felt overwhelmed. They're finally coming.

My mom and everyone was outside watching trough the window while nurses started filling the room.

"OK now push!" the doctor told me....

"It's a boy!" the doctor smiles and quickly passed a crying Adrian to the nurses to get cleaned up

"Ok I see the head now give me one more push and it'll all be over" he said and I pushed out Alexis

"It's a girl congratulations you did great!" the doctor said as he went to help the nurses

My mom rushed in kissed my head "they're beautiful I'm so proud of you" she cries as I try to rest my head back

After they cleaned and took the babies footprints, the nurses handed me Adrian and Alexis in my arms

As I was bottle feeding them, Kyle called my phone.

"What is it?" I answered in a irritated tone

"Just wondering if you're ok, I heard screaming so..." he trailed off

"I'm fine, I just gave birth to my babies that's all" I said

"Congratulations... What's their names?"

"Adrian and Alexis, look I got to go I'm pretty busy right now" I said trying to end this conversation

"Of course uh bye" he said and I hanged up the phone

I sighed and watched Adrian and Alexis sleep before a nurse came in to inform me I will be discharged tomorrow morning with the babies.

The next day I bundled up the twins in their baby carrier since it was cold and snowing outside.

I entered the house with the twins and went straight to their room. I changed both of their diapers and clothes, I gave both of them a pacifier and left.

Downstairs, everyone was playing on the Xbox playing Call of Duty.

"How are the twins?" Aunt asks

"I put them down in the cribs" I said and watched Luke and mom play

I couldn't help but think of Kyle. He probably wants to meet the twins and bond with them... Why is this so complicated?

I went back to the twins room with my laptop and started working.

Kyle POV

I just finished work and headed home. I wonder Heather would ever let me see them, I highly doubt it.

"Good evening Mr Hunt" my maid Clara said and I hustled smiled and left

I started packing for the holidays and put my suitcase in the car.

"Hey Sarah I'm coming over to your house in a bit" I told my sister and started the car

I pulled up in the driveway and went to ring the doorbell. A few minutes later I was attacked by my sister with her tight bear hugs.

"Hi your the first one here" she says and pulls me in.

"Really? Where's Ryan?" I set my suitcase down

"He's still on the road, I haven't decorated the Christmas tree yet so when Ryan comes we can decorate it" she said showing me her 7 foot tree

"Great, I need to tell you something really important" I said and sat on the sofa

"OK go on..."

"I'm a dad now. But the mother of my babies hates me because I had sex with her without her consent and we're not even dating" I told her

She looked directly into my eyes and got up while rubbing her hands together.

"So you basically raped her?" she asked

I nodded but my face suddenly whipped to the side and my cheek was burning with pain.

"What was that for?!" I yelled I held my cheek

"hmm... I was hoping to slap the stupidity out of you but it looks like I failed" she leaned on the counter. I got up and was about to yell at her but the doorbell rang.

Sarah opened the door and there was Ryan with a duffel bag over his shoulder.

"Ryan it's good to see my favorite brother here" I rolled my eyes "How's the military?"

"Great but I don't feel like talking about it, Kyle how's life bro?" he came over and hugged me

"I-"

"He raped someone!!" Sarah shouted

"Now your saying it as if I'm a criminal!!"

"You might as well be!!"

"Wait everyone, why can't he talk about this over hot chocolate. I came here for Christmas and not another war" Ryan came between us

"OK fine" we both said

"Now let's decorate this tree, by the way I got you two the best gifts ever" he said and searched the box of lights

"I might have to disagree with you on that" I laughed and put ornaments on the tree then looked out the window.
