His Baby

Chapter 22

I was ready for the day I'll have with Jayce. I hope its not anything too exciting and just something simple.

I wore a flower summer dress, jeans jacket and sandals since summer started. Which reminds me the twins are graduating this year elementary school, this might be old but time goes so fast.

My phone rang and I answered it without checking the caller ID "hello"

"Hey Heather" Kyle's voice

"What do you want?" I said slightly annoyed it wasn't Jayce

"I wanted to ask you if I could take the twins on a trip to Hawaii" he sounded happy on the line

"No, last time you had the twins they were kidnapped and I'm getting their passports ready to go to Italy"

"I can go with you then" he suggested

"No, I'm busy right now so don't call me" I said and hung up

Then the phone rang again

"I said I'm busy!" I yelled at my phone after I answered

"Too busy to hangout with me?" Jayce asked

"Oh sorry I thought you were someone else" I apologize

"It's ok, I'm outside waiting, today is going to a fun day" he said with excitement then hung up

I shake my head and head down to meet him.

I open the passenger door only to find a picnic basket. I picked it up and had it on my lap.

"Is this what we're going to do today?" I looked in the basket

"Yes but first the aquarium" he drove off

We made it to the aquarium and Jayce gave in our tickets.

Then we were in a group of tourists and the tour guide was showing us around until we reached the dolphins.

"Please take a seat to watch our dolphin show" the tour guide lead us to the stands

We watched three dolphins doing their performances. Jayce and i were given a fish to feed Jackson, one of dolphins.

After we feed Jackson, jackson swam backwards and went to the far side of the pool.

"I think it's time for that picnic" Jayce whispered

We left the aquarium with some souvenirs. I bought Alexis a dolphin and Adrian a shark, Jayce got me a starfish keychain.

Jayce laid the basket on the picnic table.

"Is this boring to you?" Jayce asked

"No, this is the most fun I had for a long time"

"And how long is a long time?"

"Since College"

"Well today is your lucky day because it's time to eat" he laid the basket on a picnic table then pulled out a tray of sandwiches, bottled drinks, and cupcakes.

"I am having the best time I've ever had" I laughed as we walked out of the movie theater after watching The Quiet Place.

"I'm glad to be able to spend some time with you and get to know you Ms. Valentine" he opened the door to his car for me before getting in and driving me home.

Today is Monday and the kids come home after school. They're graduating on Wednesday which gives me enough time to get them ready.

"So what do you think about him?" Priscilla asked while on her tablet

"Who?" I looked at her

"Well which one you want to talk about Jayce or Kyle" she sets her tablet down

"Jayce is kind and generous than Kyle, he actually wants to be my friend and get to know me unlike Kyle" I looked at the starfish keychain

"Wasn't Kyle trying to get to know you and ask for forgiveness every time you two meet?" She's not wrong

"Wait who's side are you on?" I send her a look

"I'm on the kids side, whoever you choose will effect the kids in the future." I looked down at the papers in front of me "I'm warning you to think carefully"

"I know, thank you"

Kyle POV

"Kyle you have a visitor at the desk, she's a woman with brunette with green eyes and is wearing black rip jeans including a tube top" the receptionist describes the woman

Mathew shot me a what did I do last night look and drinks his coffee

"Bring her hear" I sighed and wanted to get over this sitiation

When she walked in I remembered her from a bar 2 months ago but not her name.

"Kyle I know you remembered me right?" She crossed her arms and sits down

"I do remember you but I don't remember saying you can sit on my chair" I smiled as she glared and got up "what do you want?"

"I came here to tell you I'm pregnant with your baby" she said

I think Mathew had the same though as me, this woman is a liar.

"Sorry to disappoint you but you're not pregnant with my baby. Don't try to argue with me about it until you have proof like a DNA test" I calmly told her

But her on the other hand was burning with anger then stormed out the office and slammed the door.

"Well that happened" I shrugged

"Kyle i think you need to stop sleeping with other girls and think about your kids more, I mean your a father now so act like one" Mathew walked away before I could say anything

I do think about them.....
