I'm not sure how long I've been down here.  There aren't any windows, so I'm never sure what time it is. Food is periodically delivered to me through the small window on the door, usually it's hard or cold.

It could have been weeks, it could have been days. i had no idea. But i was slowly feeling my sanity leave me.

One night i was laying in my cell, shivering heavily from the cold. When i heard the door at the top of the stairs being slammed.

i sat up, waiting for what was to come.

i saw Shawn's nimble legs running down the stairs, i ran forward pressing my face to the bars of the door.

"Shawn please get me out of here" i said crying

He reached into his pocket, pulling out a large key, jamming it into the door and unlocking it. Letting himself into the small room and closing the door behind him.

"Celena I'm so sorry" he said pulling me into a hug.

"Oh god you're shaking, here take my sweater" he said taking his sweatshirt off and putting it over my head

In that moment i didn't care what Shawn had done in the past, i was so grateful for him, as he warmed my arms with his hands.

"Shawn please get me out of here" i repeated

"Cel i can't, he'll know i helped you. But i can get you out of this cell at least." Shawn said reaching into his pocket
He pulled out a small sheet of paper, handing it over to me

Recipe for chicken

1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
4 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp finely grated fresh ginger root
4 large chicken breasts not boneless skinless

Stir together all the ingredients except the chicken breasts and pour into a large Ziploc bag.

Add the chicken breasts and marinate in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight.
Place the marinaded chicken breasts on an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F, uncovered, for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. I use a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature is between 170 and 180 degrees F.

Do not throw out the marinade. While the chicken is cooking simmer it over low heat and brush it on the chicken about every 10 minutes as it cooks.

i stared at Shawn "What's this?"

"I'm going to get you another chance to cook for him, this is exactly how he likes it. i would have given this to you earlier but i didn't know he'd ask you to do it. I'm so sorry Celena, but if you do exactly this then he should let you out" Shawn explained.

i studied the card in my hand

"Hide the card when they come for you tomorrow morning. Oh and also don't let them see the sweatshirt" he added

"Why didn't you come earlier" i questioned

"Celena it's been mad up there, he paces the entrance to the dungeon all day. He's drunk and passed out right now so i could slip down here" he explained

i nodded, there was no way to know if he was telling the truth but right now, it was all i had. Being down here for all this time, has made me doubt that the Londoners would ever find me anyways.

Shawn pulled me into a hug again, squeezing me tight.

"Do What i say, we'll talk more tomorrow okay? i can't stay long, he'll be looking for me soon" He said looking me in the eyes.
