Shawn's POV

It took Celena a few days to wake up, when she did she barely said a word to anyone. Her face was emotionless, her eyes had lost that sparkle they always seemed to have.

She went home shortly after she woke up.

She spent a few weeks there but when I'd come by to visit, she said it didn't feel right being there.

She found a small flat to move into by her university. Which gave her the excuse to throw  herself into school work.

i came over almost everyday, but when i got there we would just sit in silence and do work. She completely cut off her friends too, they even tracked me down to ask what was going on.

i just told them that she lost someone very close to her.

When it was three months after the battle i started getting extremely worried about her, she wasn't eating much, which made her look like a shell of what she once was.

This catatonic state was slowly killing her, so i forced her to go to therapy.

She couldn't tell the therapist everything, obviously any gang talk had to be top secret. But she would talk about losing him, about how she was beaten, multiple times.

It wasn't until month five that i could slowly see the old Celena come back. She would laugh at terrible jokes i told her and would finally cry, instead of keeping all her emotion bottled up.

The therapist told me to keep telling her that Harry wouldn't want her to live this way.

That was the only thing that really seemed to register with her. i could physically see how much pain she was in, mentioning his name was like taking a knife and stabbing her in the chest.

It was six months after the fight, we were sitting on a meadow reading our books, when she laid  down and picked up a flower that was beside her. Closely examining the peddles.

"i think - i think I'm ready" she whispered

i put my book down and turned towards her "you are?"

"No" she smiled and ran her fingers through the long grass

"But you're right. He wouldn't want me to be like this" she finished

i covered her hand with mine and squeezed.

When a strong breeze came by, she smiled and let go of the flower, watching it disappear into the sky.
