I'd been laying in his bed, looking up at the ceiling for hours. i knew he was pissed at me, i would be pissed at me too. But he had to understand why i did it.

i sighed and got out of bed, my head was throbbing.

i shuffled downstairs, Arthur was sitting at the table drinking coffee and reading the news paper, when i walked in he gave me a strained smile, then went back to reading his paper.

"Merry Christmas Celena" Will said, he was standing by the corner of the room, building a fake tree.

i blinked. It's Christmas already?

"Merry Christmas" i mumbled, walking over to the kitchen to pour myself a cup of coffee

i sat down at the table Arthur was at, something seemed off about this place.

i strained my head to look out the window, but no one was outside training.

"Hey where is everyone?" i asked

"It's Christmas, means we get the day off" Arthur grumbled

"A lot of the guys have gone into town" Will explained

"Where's Harry ?" i questioned

Will and Arthur looked at each other

"He's uh.. he's staying at the other safe house for a while. He's going to over see the other half of the groups training" Will said tentatively.

So his solution is to run away when things get bad?

"Perfect" i grumbled into my coffee

Arthur shook out his paper, rolling his eyes

"What's your problem?" i questioned

"What you did was damn stupid" he answered, folding his paper.

"i did it to save everyone!" i fought

"You made a choice to go against what your team said. For someone who preaches about team work so often, you don't really seem to give a shit about it. There isn't always glory in being a hero" he said getting up and walking down the hall.

I've just about how enough of these assholes. i didn't do it to be seen as a hero, i did it because i didn't want anyone to else to die because of me.

i slammed my coffee down on the table.

"Come decorate the tree with me" Will suggested

i thought against it, but there's no point in moping. Especially on Christmas.

i got up and went over to him, grabbing a box and putting the cute little figures on the tree.

i was in such a rotten mood, this whole thing had been a mistake. Ever since i joined, i seemed to be hurting more than helping.

"i don't think they're right" Will said

"You don't have to lie." i replied blatantly

"I'm not. What you did took courage, any of them would have done the same thing. They're just upset over the fact that they almost lost you again. You've really made an impact on everyone here, i hope you realize that" Will said

"i shouldn't be punished like this" i mumbled

"No, but. You also shouldn't have done it"

My head snapped up to glare at him

"i just mean that, you do tell us to be a team and you're absolutely right. But by saying that you also have to demonstrate it, the rules apply to everyone, even you." Will explained
