Chapter 2-The Next Raven

Each member of the Raven's dorm was doing their own separate activities when Leo once again tried to approach Hayley.

"Hayley" Said Leo, causing her to take off her headphones. Hayley looked at him, her face showing nothing but annoyance.

    "Leo go away." She spoke. "You've tortured me enough." She says.

    "Hayley come on, Aspen is gone. I was never dating her!" He exclaims throwing his hands in the air. Hayley stood up form her chair.

    "Leo! We kiss and you write a song about me and then you I find out you're in a long term relationship with someone else!? I don't care if you broke up with her, you still couldn't say it to her face. And in the end I was the one who got hurt." Hayley was hurt, more then she cared to admit.

    "I don't know what more you want from me!" He shouted. "I thought you were cool." He mumbled at the end.

    "Cool? COOL!" Yelled Hayley. "You know what isn't cool Leo?" It's not cool to flirt with someone non stop, kiss them, and then act like nothing happened. It's not cool to completely play someone and act like you care! And it is not fucking cool to finally agree to be with me WHILE YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!" Hayley snapped, shoving him away.

    Just then, Mr. Osmond proudly waltzed into the room. "Raves, I'd like to announce that I have found your newest member. Elliot, come in.

A boy about the same age as everyone else stepped in casually. Immediately heads turned.

"Ladies And gentlemen, this is Elliot Spade. Please be kind to him, I'd rather not be replacing Ravens every week now." He attempted at a joke. But with all that has been going on recently, no one laughed. Mr. Osmond coughed in attempt to cover up the awkward silence, then quickly left the room.

Elliot looked around the room at the Ravens. For a second, he and Hayley's eyes met. But Elliot looked away and shrugged with a wave. "Um hi, I'm Elliot."

    One by one, all of the Ravens introduced themselves, until it was just Hayley.

    "I'm Hayley Woods and-"

    "Wait!" He interrupted.

    'Oh no' thought Hayley. Whenever people heard the last name woods and the first name Hayley link together. People always ended up connecting that it was her mother.

    "That's an Atlantic Madness T-Shirt!" He smiled, pointing to her shirt which had the bands name and logo on it. Hayley looked up and smiled. "Yeah, I've loved them forever." She added.

    "That's sick!" He shouted, walking over to her. "I feel, like they're such an underrated band." Elliot inquired.

    "And their good songs always get lost!" Added on Hayley.

    "Exactly!" Elliot agreed. "This is amazing. I thought everyone in this school was going to be stuck up. But you're pretty amazing so far." He said, a smirk on his face.

    "You're not so bad yourself." Said Hayley, grinning. "But don't get your hopes up...Some people here can be assholes." She says, not caring wether or not Leo was in earshot to hear that.

    "Well if you're here. Then I'll survive." Elliot said. "Hayley, right?"

    "Yes." Answered Hayley, a smile playing on her lips.

"I'm gonna go set up my stuff, but I'd kind of love it if you gave me a tour." He inquired.

"Fine with me." Shrugged Hayley.

"Perfect!" Smiled Elliot "See you around Hayley." He said, then walked into his bedroom.

    Hayley was playing video games with Jackie and Jackie had just scored a point.

    "I just kicked your ass!" Bragged Jackie.

    "Yeah yeah keep bragging, I'll beat you next round." Hayley threatened playfully, gripping onto the controller.

    "So whats up with you and the new guy?" Asked Jackie

    "What? Nothing!" Confirmed Hayley.

    "Don't even try me Hayley. You two were flirting in front of the entire club room."

    "That's just how I talk with everyone." Defended Hayley.

    "No Hayley this is a good thing!" Exclaimed Jackie.

    "It is?" Asked Hayley, raising and eyebrow.

    "Yes!" Jackie restated. "Leo turned out to be a douche. So having a new relations with someone who is not already a part of the greenhouse drama will be good for you." She said. "Just promise me something." Jackie said.

    "What?" Asked Hayley.

    "Promise me that you wont just use Elliot to get to Leo. If you two hook p or whatever, its because you want a fresh start. Not to make Leo jealous," said Jackie.

    "I promise you." Hayley said. "Besides I'm completely over him!" Said Hayley, waving a hand dismissively.

    "I don't believe that for a second." Snarked Jackie.

    "Rude." Murmured Hayley under her breath.

    "Hayley I wish I could help you with this...but honestly...I think you should go talk to your brother about it." Jackie said, shrugging.

    "You know, that's not a bad idea." Commented Hayley. "It's decided!"

    "I'm going to see my brother!"
