—Chapter 2

"Now you're good. How do you feel?" Wyatt asked as he fiddled with the buttons on his clothes.

"Much better thanks to you." Jaeden replied as he received a kiss planted on his forehead.

The room was silent. Nothing other than their movement noises was filled. It was kept that way 'till Wyatt broke it.

"Alright. What's for dinner?" He popped the T.

"Up to you." Jaeden sprung out from the bed and followed Wyatt downstairs to the kitchen.

"Oh crap." Wyatt scanned for something proper for Jaeden to eat. It was just a hall full of canned food.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Wyatt threw his hands in the air as he walked away.

"Come on, Jae. We're going to a place that'll give you something proper." Wyatt grabbed his hat and his wallet but was soon stopped by Jaeden.

"I'll eat anything here." Jaeden told.

Wyatt's eyes widen. He wanted the best for Jaeden, he's gone through worst. He didn't want anything dodgy, referring to 'canned' things.

But Wyatt's heart said 'listen. If Jaeden is happy with whatever's there, just let it be.' He knew he couldn't resist the sparkles in his eyes as they were shining brighter than ever.

"But, it's not good. I mean, you won't like i-"

"I don't care, Wy. Whatever's here, I'll take it. Im already grateful enough to have someone like you who actually cares about me. What's better than that?"

Wyatt's heart melted as soon as the words coming out went through his ear. His soothing voice and his wise words.

"It's okay, Wy. It's just dinner, I won't have to eat alot." Jaeden added as he grabbed the hat Wyatt was holding and placed it back in the hanger.

"Fine. Only because you said so." Wyatt grinned and brought Jaeden with him.

He let Jaeden choose the food and from what he saw, it looked like he chose the canned red beans. He watched as Jaeden grabbed the pot and open the can.

"I'll cook."

"No Jaeden, i will."

"No, me."

"No, ME." Wyatt grabbed the spatula from Jaeden's hand.

"Playing this game, are we?" Jaeden chuckled as he snatched the spatula right from Jaeden.

Wyatt felt like a challenger. It was motivating him alot. He snatched it back as quick as he can and held it higher than Jaeden's height.

Jaeden was full of determination. He continued to try grab the spatula from his hands, but ended up on his arms.

He looked up and their eyes were locked. Wyatt couldn't help but stare at those brown eyes that glowed brighter than the lights.

He was utterly in love. Jaeden was everything to him. He loved him so much.

Wyatt slicked Jaeden's hair back and gave him a kiss in his forehead. Jaeden's eyes furrowed and continued to feel his forehead.

"I'll cook." Wyatt ended and poured the can of beans into the pot.

Jaeden smiled and sat down at the chair with his arms stretched. He then placed bis arms at the dining table and fiddled with the cloth.

      "Love you, Wy."
