ANOTHER BATTLE

The picture of my face on her mobile screen
The album of our memories dominating the list
The reason why I'm living : due to her
Every single hair on my body
It also belongs to her
The Empire which we shared
Is tumbling down, heavily
The guards which protect the treasure
Are running scared, trying to escape
Trying to escape the negativity it has taken
And the vibe so strong, it can kill one
The colour of red transforms to black
And I'm clever enough to know
What that means
The death date is becoming visible
Of the thing which beats our blood
I can see the worn out face
I try so hard not to collapse
My faith in fate
But if things are turning the road
What can I do, babe?
The cries haunt me at nights
And my head throbs with pain
Make it enormous as you want
But when the sun sets,
We all know it was small
And I don't mean to fight everyday
My armour's getting tired
From protecting deathly blows in the battle
The battle of to earn the right
I let myself open up a bit
To let her know I'm still naïve
But the thoughts turn to words
During the blame game in future
I feel like I'm trapped
Even though it's the freedom
Which I breathe
But it crushes everytime I see others
Doing things prohibited to me
We take a step backward
As trust and faith slowly fall
They are what hold us to pieces
In the void of the heart
I never meant to let go her
For she supplies my thirst
We laugh at times too
As I watch her in adornment
Feeling proud of her at times
But now the conch's blown
Ending the mark of a small battle
I raise my sword with pathetic eyes
From the puddle of green blood
My army of words is half dead
And the other half try to make peace
They lie on many stretchers
And many oxygen tanks
Recovering from the blast
I glance around and see that
Your general: love has a cut
On it's injured arm
It struggles to get back
Alone without it's companions
I take my helmet and make way
Around bodies full of strench
They did not die of weapons
But more of betray
We take back our possessions
But forgot to take the other
As a component
My eye meets her as I sigh
And now I know how strong it is
We hold for a moment
Before turning backs
I fucking wish it was different
And I bet she wish the same too
But I'll take gratitude in what I have
Much better than forgetting her
