Chapter 1

Hey guys!Welcome to the first chapter of Unchangeable Destiny!Thank you guys so much for sticking with me through this whole fanfiction,and I will try my best to make this as best as I can!

Shinichi's POV

We landed at an abandoned lab where Josuke led us in.The rest seemed to be on edge,most likely because they have close to no trust in Josuke.But thankfully,he gets it.Entering the lab,we were shocked to find it to be completely different from its dilapicated exterior.The inner was a well furnished lab,even to be called a fort,as big as the underground one I have spent much time in or even bigger than that.In the centre stood a familiar-looking brother...

"TENSHO!"The rest rushed up to him and held him tightly.Boy,it has only been a while,but he has grown to look so different-More muscular and fit,and sure more handsome than that little boy we saw ages ago.

"Hey,Shin-kun!"He walked over to me,giving me a bro's hug and a fist bump.

"Its been a while,hasnt it!"We laughed.Since the last time we fought and met up,we havent seen each other...

Flashback

"Shin-kun,I think I might want to leave the FBI for a while.Part of me wants to stay and help,but then again I want to pursue my so called career and passion in inventing..."Tensho stuttered while trying to explain.

"Hey man no worries.How about this.Since you would be leaving,can you be my informant for the time being.As for your dismissal,I'll settle it with Yataka-san.Then as for where you want to go,would you mind going with my friend Josuke?He is kind of like a gang leader but he would definitely need a good technician and things like that.Then again,he would have good money to spend on you.Since we are pretty good friends,it probably won't be a problem."I offered.

"Sure,I'll take you up on your offer.Would we meet again?"He let out a sad smile.Always the emotional one.

"Why not?Forever brothers,remember?The next time we meet,beer and katsudon over the seaside again?"I smiled,remembering the times we spent together.

The deal was sealed with a fistbump and a knowing smile shared.

Flashback end

"So,offer still up?"Tensho pointed at the table with cans of beer and plates of food.WIth a wicken grin,we raced towards the cans of chilled beer as the rest slowly reacted.Not to brag,but of course I was the first to reach to get the first can of beer.

POP!

Opening the can and pouring the contents into my dry,raspy throat,Tensho and Josuke handed out plates of food and cans of beer to all of us.It has been a long while since we met each other.However,half way through the mini part or gathering,Tensho decided to pull me away.

"Hey.I know its a happy day and we shouldnt be talking about work or unucky things but Ive received credible information that soon,all 4 of you guys would be made into wanted criminals.Also,since Ive left the FBI,I was also looking for information about the Ravens.Even though it isnt much,I hope all of us can sit down for a while and sort our information out and get a new plan"Tensho explained,a look of concern crossing his face.

"I know that just as much as you do.However,right now we are out there in the daylight,Yataka and the Ravens are in the dark.It would be difficult for us to get information,not to mention that it is highly difficult for any of us to show ourselves without getting arrested.But..."I trailed off,my mind whirling with ideas

"You have a plan,don't you.Go ahead,outline it."Tensho offered but I shook my head no.

"Its been a while we met like you said,I would rather not discuss work matters right now.Rather,look at how happy those goofy bunch are,I wish I could keep things this way forever"I lamented,a sentiment echoed by Tensho moments after.

Tensho's POV

"Anything you want,Shinichi.But just please, please dont do anything reckless"I begged.

Sadly,I knew only too well how that detective was like.
