Hey guys, yeah I know its been a while!Things have been tough lately, and it wasn't as easy as I thought to get this chappie up. Yes, yes I know its been a while, but yep I'm trying to manage as well as I can. I've had quite a few ideas for fics, and I really want to work on them. But by the end of the day, I'm legit so tired that I can't. However, I can tell you guys that an idea of a oneshot has been up for quite a while, even though I have not decided on what fandom it will be on. It could go anywhere from Five Nights At Freddys (FNAF) to  Detroit Become Human (DBH) or go back to my Boku No Hero Academia (BNHA) or maybe, even another shinshi fic. I have not decided on much yet, but perhaps in the next few upcoming chapters, I would drop more ideas or conducts votes, and we shall see then. I know, I know that its been a pretty lengthy author's note and I apologize for that, so on with the story!

Shinichi's POV

As soon as we got back, things seemed to move like a machine. There was much work left to be done. Afterall, a war would be raging out, what are we to do?

The moment I came back, Tensho came out running to me and gripped my shoulder with such force I thought he was going to dislocate it. "THEY'RE COMING!RUN!"

Pulling him aside I started to question the thousands of doubts I held but he merely shouted over chaotic screaming:" There's no time left to explain this, we need to get out of this place first!"

Flashback

Tensho's POV

Soon after they left, I took charge of the operations and went to the operation room. Shinichi and Shiho wouldn't be back so early, but taking care of the organization couldn't be that difficult, right?

It wasn't long after when Josuke ran in with Intel:"We need to get out. The Black Ravens somehow found our main den and they are all heading here now!"

"But we can't run! Shinichi and Shiho aren't back yet, we have to wait!" Kaito cut in.

"I don't think waiting would be a good idea. They would be here in an hours time, max!" One of the scouts informed

"In my opinion, we should wait for Commander Shinichi. He is our commander." A low ranking member offerred.

"Guys, remember before Shinichi left, he made Tensho the in charge? Go on, make your decision. We will all follow. The rest of you, shut your mouths. Its not time for any of you to give your opinions" Hattori snapped as he took his seat once more.

Weighing my options, I find myself spiralling into a state of indecision. How could I leave Shinichi to return with no one left, or worse, bump into the Ravens? However, I was a commander- I am responsible for all the lives of my men, as well as their families.

Clearing my throat, I got up. "Its decided. We are leaving here, whether you like it or not. I would stay and wait for them, so as of now, I would like Hattori to lead us all to a safe place. Josuke-san, kindly find us a secure enough place for everyone to lie low. Dont worry about me, I would be safe." Hattori nodded, giving me a firm handshake before snapping his fingers and leading each squad out, before coming back for all the equipment.

"Hurry!" I yelled out of frustration. This day was turning out to be a terrible mess.

Flashback ends

"Basically, that was what happened"  I finished my explanation as Shinichi started to pace around more and more.

"Our people. The Ravens slaughtered them like animals. This cannot do. I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS!" He slammed the table with such force that creaks could be heard.

"So much anger..." Josuke appeared out of nowhere, shaking his head.

"WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL, JOSUKE? THE RAVENS SLAUGHTERED OUR PEOPLE LIKE ANIMALS. PEOPLE DIED, AND THEY DIED IN VAIN. THEY WERE ALMOST DEFENCELESS YET THEY KILLED ALL OF THEM IN COLD BLOOD. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO. TELL ME. WHAT!" The bottled up rage finally set itself free

"Then what do you want to do? An eye for an eye? We are low in supplies, we are less in numbers, our men are less trained, we are in the light while they are in the dark. We hold no advantage over them, other than the fact that you are our leader. That no matter what, our people believe in you and would dive into battlefields for you and they would pay with their lives just to serve our cause. They are getting rid of a threat to our national security. They are willing to do it, they are heroes. But they can't do it if their leader is in no good state to lead them into battles, to support them, to make wise decisions. This is a war, Shinichi. Sacrifices are more than uncommon." Josuke took another step towards the table and pulled out a chair, giving a gesture for Shinichi to take a seat, which he did and everyone else followed suit.

The deadly silence across the room was the mark of a tensed atmosphere where the only sound would be the occasional wind blowing.

"We regroup. Then you wait for my orders" Shinchi ordered, before walking out of our base without another word.
