Chapter 8

Countdown before War:3 days

Tensho's POV

Even though both Shiho-san and I agreed that things could be done in 3 days,it would be a bit of a rush.Right now,Shinichi has informed us that the FBI would only be providing Shuuichi-kun's platoon to help out,which would be about 100 men odd only.Those 100 men would be split into Alpha and Charlie,60 and 40.For armour,I had long made a design to be sent for production already.Everything else Shinichi had asked was on set and preparing for production.However, there was way too much uncertainties in this war.To clear our doubts,Commander-Sama was going to have another compulsory meeting.

"Okay guys,I get that there's still a lot more that we need to get done and settle but I apologize that it is time we lack.Right now,all I can be sure of is that we have to win this war. We have to. Now,I'm coming forward to ask if anyone has any methods or strategies. Please,we are in desperate need." Shinichi took one glance at all the men below, who had their heads low in respect but no one said anything.

"May I?" An idea flashed in my mind and Shinichi gave me an approving nod.

"I feel that we should get more allies before we start anything.As you said,we have many things in this war unknown to us.We are in the light,while they are in the dark.Should we recklessly declare war and they have any other allies,we are gone. I know almost everyone here wants to finish their mission or get their revenge,but this for all of ours sake.Please?" I looked straight into Shinichi's eyes. I am his buddy,his friend,his teammate.And I can understand how he was feeling.Was it despair?Hope?Annoyance?Pain?I knew better than anyone it was a mixture of all of th above and many more.There was so much,so so much inside him that he wanted to let out.He wanted to be alone with Shiho,who couldn't tell.But he knew he was a commander,one for the sake of peace and justice.He just couldn't.

"I-I'll think about it.How's preparation?"He stuttered, trying to change the topic and ease out on everything.

*time skip to after the meeting*

After the meeting, Shinichi walked off alone to let loose of his emotions and calm down after all these.

"Hey Shin!How bout this,you take the day off today and go out with Shiho?I'll take over your duties.Just a few hours,all will be fine!"I offered with a smile.I watched his pupils dilate and expand.He was in shock,of course.He knew I wouldn't offer that all of a sudden.Not to mention I'm not one of the guys that offers myself much,no matter if it was for a volunteer act or if someone needed help,unless it was that much needed.Rather to say that volunteerism isn't my thing,I would prefer saying that to me,it's a form of taking up responsibilities and making choices that might well change things,and that sense of responsibility doesn't sit well with me.

"Are you sure about it" He asked in doubt,partly unsure of his hearing as well.

"Of course,go ahead and take the day the day off.I'll handle your job in the meantime. You know I take pride in my handiwork so don't worry about me handling everything." I reassured him once more before he slowly nodded and flashed me a smile of gratitude before heading off to look for Shiho.

Hey guys,I know its been a long while but things have really been tough lately,I'll try my best to update more often and try to get more editting done to prevent mistakes but all in all I hope you guys can bear with me while I try to push through at this moment.I do assure you guys that I'll try my bestestestestestest to write more quality content as well though!I realised that we have been lacking on a lot of fluff and stuff so here's me making up for it!
