"We should keep going. Austin's only an one or two away." Cindy knew they all seemed to be putting it off. She didn't knew the boys reasons, but she had a clue to Roy's. Once they were at Austin, that would probably have to go their separate ways until Cindy could find Rachmiel. They likely might the Winchesters would go their own ways as well, leaving Castiel with her until Rachmiel appeared. To Austin was the starting agreement, they probably had better hunts to get to than to babysit a child and demon while searching for an angel.
Roy seemed to physically deflate from where he was drawing with Sera. Even with her disability, she enjoyed doing things normal children would do, such as drawing, watching movies and dressing up. Sure, it came with its own complications. They had to explain how she looked, what was happening when dialogue wasn't telling the full story, what colour she was using. Sera didn't mind in the slightest though.
"Oh, right..." Roy grimaced. "You're right. It's probably better I get out of your hair before something worse than Chase comes after you all." Chase scoffed from where he was lounging on the couch, skimming a book.
"I'm the scariest thing you'll ever see." He mocked a roar as Cindy rolled her eyes.
"Let's pack things up then. That cool, guys?" She asked the brothers and angel. Castiel nodded, content with watching Sera pick up a red crayon and start drawing swirls.
"Yeah, we've been here too long." Dean agreed, starting to pack his things. Sam followed suit with a tight smile, eyes lingering on his brother.
"Cindy! What do you think of my drawing?" Sera beamed, holding the paper the wrong way. Cindy laughed softly and instead of correcting her, she walked to look over the girls shoulder. It a scribble of swirls and jagged lines, but Cindy would only smile.
"It looks beautiful, sweetie. Well done." She was definitely fond of the child. She would likely never settle down herself, have kids and such, but she could enjoy the chance she had to bond with a beautiful girl like Sera for now.
"It's for you." Sera passed it to her with a broad grin.
"I'll cherish it forever." She folded it up and slipped it into her back pocket, kissing her forehead in the flow of things before going to pack her things. No one said a thing.

Roy drove this time, Cindy in passenger and Castiel in the backseat. The others were in the Impala. Ten minutes into the car ride, Cindy grew tired and curled her legs up onto the seat. She tilted towards Roy, resting on his shoulder. He was only driving with one hand, so Cindy didn't seem to be obstructing him. He did try to move, shift her off the bone of his shoulder, but she grumbled and moved anyway. Roy could only smile fondly at her antics, letting her rest for the drive as his hand ran through her hair soothingly.
He awoke her when they pulled up at an house, all in shades of brown and grey, yet in fairly good condition for how old it probably way.
"So...You ready to go see Jaba?"
"I guess...Cindy, you know I love you, right?" Roy took her hand in his, squeezing it. "Right?"
"I know. I...I care about you too, Roy." She couldn't say it just yet. She loved him naturally because he was her father, but she didn't love him like a dad just yet. Maybe one day.
"I'm glad." Roy smiled wearily, anxious to leave her side after finally getting her back. Cindy exited the car and walked around, Roy already out of the car. Cindy held her hand up at the Impala to tell the boys to stay put as she walked Roy to the front door, arm looped with Roy's. Was she really ready to do this?
It wasn't her choice though. It was Roy's.
"Ready?" Cindy murmured.
"Then I'll ever be." Roy said weakly, but it was true. His resolve was weak, and this was as ready as he'll ever be to leave his daughter. Cindy smiled at him, tight and stiff as she rose her knuckles to knock.
Only, she didn't get the chance. From a soft noise behind them, a man with a wild grey beard, beaten up cap and black eyes appeared. With a grin of yellowed teeth, he swung at Roy. Cindy pushed her father out of the way narrowly, throwing a fist at the demon. How did they know they were here in the first place?!
The demon snarled and went to swing at her this time, but he was knocked on his rear when Castiel appeared between them. Cindy grasped the beige trenchcoat in shock, letting go when Castiel moved to smite the demon.
"Don't kill him!" The words left before she could register them properly. This demon - he could have answers, even with the homeless man he possessed.
"Why not?" By now, the rest of the gang had jumped out of the Impala to suss out the problem.
"Capture him. I want...I want to torture some answers out of him. Like how he knew where we were, and why hell wants Roy dead." She was also angry. Angry that they had tried to kill Roy again!
"Now, even I could tell you that one." Chase rolled his eyes.
"Shut up, or I'll torture you too." Cindy snapped. "Some get some rope. Get Jaba to open up a room for me to torture him in." Roy nodded and knocked on the door.

"Enough jumping around the questions! How did you know we were here?"
"Witchcraft." He drawled.
"Argh." She shoved her regular knife into his arm, keeping it pinning to the chair as she ran a hand through her hair. "Okay, how about why you're after my father?"
"Your father...? Oh, I know you." The demon tied to the chair purred, grinning despite his bloodied face.
"Pardon?" Cindy rose a brow in suspicion. Was this perhaps the demon that possessed her mother?
"Your father was a failed weapon on earth." The demon chuckled. "Oh, you've got some important demons after your behind, missy."
"What are you talking about?" She spat, angered by his superior attitude.
"Why, I'm talking about the experiments." He rose a brow, then gasped dramatically. "You don't know?"
"Know what?!"
"Oh dearie, don't you know that you're the demons next target? The Angels tried making a weapon on earth and failed. Since the lower demons are occupied with killing your angel daddy off, the important demons have plan with a clear advantage. You." His words chilled up her spine.
"What do the demons plan to do with me?"
"Make you our weapon on earth, but of course. Fuse a bit of demon essence with your pretty little soul and ta-da! We got ourselves our own little abomination as a weapon. Perfect since you're the descent of an angel vessel, it's like a good middle finger to the heavens. Of course, if it goes wrong, we kill you." The demon shrugged uncaringly.
"You guys can't possess me anyway." Cindy's smirked and pulled the collar of her shirt down to reveal her tattoo, identical to the Winchesters. "So tough luck." She'd gotten it a few years back after reading to protected people from possession,
"Cindy, Cindy, Cindy, when are going to realise that we know these things. We aren't all stupid. Crowley has his own plans for you after all, and that little anti-possession tattoo of yours." The demon grinned viciously, showing horrid yellowed teeth from his vessel.
"Well, now that I know this, I'll just have to be extra careful." Cindy hummed and grabbed the demon blade, digging it into the soft flesh of the demons stomach. He went limp, dead.
She pulled it back out and sighed. One problem still remains. Chase. Was he here to kill Roy and possess you, or was he genuinely just here for his daughter and angel lover?
