The Dinner Part Three

Mat's POV
As Mariana cried into my chest I️ felt so bad for her.
" don't listen to Callie, she is just a messed up person" I️ said trying to make her feel better.
" why does she keep doing this to me what did I️ do to her" she asked while sobbing into my chest
" I️ don't know babe, but hey what she says does not matter. I️ can give you two options we can stay up here and you can cry into my chest and ruin your makeup or we can go back outside and show here that she does not get to you and after if you want we can cuddle"
" fine I️ guess but only cause we get to cuddle after" she says then kissing me
" ok let's go then" I️ said getting I️ help her to her feet
As we maybe our way downstairs I️ wrapped my arm around her waist as we made our way outside.
Mama's POV

Mat and Mariana have been gone about ten to fifteen minutes now. I am very worried about Mariana none of us knew she felt that way about what happened to Stef. I look at Stef and she look like she about to go off on Callie like Mat did but then the back door opened to reveal Mat with is arm around Mariana's waist. They sat down were they had left from the table. Mariana looked at me and Stef and I could see the in her eyes. Seeing my baby girl like that made me want to cry because I felt so bad for her.

"well shall we continue with dinner than?" I asked

"yeah, sure why not" Stef responded with anger in her voice

After 30 minutes of eating dinner it was time for desert                                         

"let me go inside and get the cake" I said

"no, mama its ok I will go get the cake" Mariana said getting up from the table

"Umm Mat and Stef can I talk to you two for a minute" I asked when Mariana opened the door to the house

With that Stef, Lena and Mat got up from the table and went to the covered porch

"Mat is Mariana ok cause she really does not seem like she is"

"She just is having a hard time with Callie and when Callie mentioned that Mariana gave her birth mom money all the memorizes of what happened to Mrs. Adams Foster, Mariana blames herself for all of that when we were talking about our families one day she told me how she feels about what happened to you, I did try to convince her that it was not her fault but to a point she still believes it is her fault." Mat said still concerned about Mariana

"Do you know why Mariana did not tell us how she felt" Stef asked

"Mari is very stubborn at times when she wants something there is nothing anyone can do to stop her from achieving it, in her mind I guess she felt that she was protecting you from having to deal with her feelings." Mat said

"Ok we will both talk with her after the party because it is not her fault for what happened to me and we do appricate that you have been there to help her when she needed you" Stef said

"Would you mind talking to her about it tomorrow she has already been through a lot today I don't know if she can take anymore and I would do anything for Mariana I love her" Mat said smiling at the end of his sentence

They all returned to the table only after only taking for like two minutes

Callie's POV

"I think I am going to go to the bathroom" I said getting up from the table walking towards the house when Jesus got from his chair and stood in front of my path

"You are not going in that house until Mariana comes out or me and Mat can both come in the house with you because there is no way in hell we are leaving you alone with Mariana" Jesus said with Mat standing next to him now
