afternoon
Hyuk carried his second luggage into the apartment and huffed. The landlord clclosed the main door slightly and handed the keys over to Hyuk, who thanked him kindly. The younger took a good look around the apartment. It was very clean and furnished well.
"It's such a lovely place, why didn't the previous owner continue living here?", Hyuk asked.
"Well," the landlord thought for a second. "He found a better place to stay in, I guess."
Hyuk nodded and acknowledged it. He took out the money and passed it over to the landlord.
"Sorry, how should I address you?", Hyuk politely asked as the landlord counted the money in his hands.
"Don't need to be so formal, kid," the landlord smiled and extended his hand out. "Cha Hakyeon or N, either is fine."
"Okay. I'm Han Sang Hyuk or just, Hyuk. Is that the correct amount?"
Hakyeon nodded. "This will cover you for three months. Alright, make yourself at home. Should you need help with anything, just drop a text or call me."
Hyuk waved goodbye as Hakyeon made his way out of the apartment. The boy dropped himself onto the couch and sighed in relief. He finally moved out of his parents house and it was a great accomplishment to himself. Not only that, he was about to start university in a few months time.
knock knock
Hyuk turned to face the door. Did Hakyeon forget something? He lifted himself of the seat and got up to open the door. To his surprise, he was faced with an unknown stranger. Hyuk found himself stoning for a bit before the other person waved.
"Hi? Is Mr Jung here? I have his newsletter here," the stranger smiled and held up a small envelope.
Hyuk struggled to find the right words and laughed nervously. "Y-Yeah, I'll pass this to him later."
"Okay, thank you! Are you new here?", the angelic boy asked, dimples forming at the sides of his cheeks as he smiled warmly at Hyuk.
Hyuk nodded and pursed his lips together. It was hard trying to look away from the boy in front of him. The other person had beautiful, big eyes along with a cute grin that allowed his little dimples to show. His hair was a dark shade of brown and it was styled neatly.
"Alright, I'm off now bye!"
Before Hyuk could reply, the delivery boy walked off and hopped onto his scooter and drove away. Hyuk closed the door behind him and placed the envelope aside. He was curious who this "Jung Leo", who was probably the previous owner. But more importantly, he was curious to find out who that delivery boy was.
