The ride home was silent between the two teenagers, Donovan not knowing what to say to the hurt girl, and her not wanting to speak about the ordeal that had happened just minutes before. "Thank you, for you know, helping me out back there."

Donovan smiled looking over at her, before looking back at the road, "It's not a problem Jacqueline, I'm glad your okay."

She looked over at him with a small smile; she had always hated Donovan, or at least she thought she had. He had always tried to make her feel inferior, and always tried to one up her. But lately he'd been nicer, a nuisance, but treated her like a confident person who could make her own decisions.

Donovan followed her directions and pulled up to her house, where Hopper's truck was parked next to her mother's car.

"Thank you," Jackie said smiling over at Donovan as he put the car in park, "I mean it, really." He smiled over at her, placing a hand on hers, "Anything for you." She stepped out of the car with a huff, a smile playing on her lips, "Bye, Donovan."

Donovan waved at her through the window as she slammed the door shut, waiting until she walked up to the door and walked inside, and then he pulled away from the house and drove back down the way he came.

As soon as she walked in her mother enveloped her in a tight hug, nearly making the girl fall back into the door.

"I'm fine mom-" Jackie breath squeezing her mom tight, "I'm okay, I'm fine." Joyce let out a squeak at her daughter as Hopper walked out of the kitchen, "Glad your okay kid."

Jackie pulled away from her mom and smiled at the both of them, "I'm just gonna go change, okay?"

She left the two of them in the living room as she walked into her bedroom quickly, and it looked dirty since Will had disappeared. Clothes were thrown everywhere, the floor was covered in Chester's dog hair and she had garbage from finished bags of chips and empty cans of soda cluttered around the bedroom.

"God, I am disgusting-" Mickey said, picking up her trash bin by the door and quickly and throwing her clothes into the dirty clothes hamper by her closet.

She threw on a grey sweatshirt and a pair of flannel pajama pants with a pair of black socks before turning off her light and walking back into the kitchen to see her mom and Hopper smoking cigarettes together, in a very heated discussion.

"Okay, I need you to go through this again."

"Joyce- I already told you everything that I saw." Hopper sighed, rubbing his eyes. "We need to go through it again." Her mom said just as she sat down.
