The alarm woke you up, "God, I want to throw that thing out the window." Roman chuckled as he got out of bed, "Poor baby. Try actually having to go to work every day." You shot him a playfully angry look, flipping him off, "Jerk." He chuckled as he walked in front of you, "I'd love to but we don't have the time this morning. Come on, shower with me so we can talk." You nodded as you got up and shed your night gown on the way, "What did you find?" Roman informed you about the trailer park that the dream led him too, "I ran into Peter...he's having the dreams too. But somethings off, we aren't dreaming the same things anymore...it's like I dream half of it and he dreams the rest." He puts soap in your hair and massages it through, you moan before answering, "Maybe it's because you aren't as close as you used to be..." He sighed, turning you to help rinse the soap, "I wish we were...he was my best friend." You gave him a small smile, "I know babe, he was my friend too, but there was just some connection you two had, that I can't explain. Give it time...I'm sure things will heal and you'll have your friend back." Roman smiled and kissed you, holding you close to him under the water, "Maybe..."

The two of you walked downstairs, Miranda wasn't up yet. You kissed him goodbye and then ran upstairs to see the kids. Anna smiled when you came in, "Mrs. Godfrey, good morning." You smiled and replied, "Morning Anna, how are they today?" She followed you into Nadia's room, "They are doing well, you'll need to pump again this morning. We are almost out in the freezer." You nodded towards her rubbed their cheeks. The three of them were still asleep, "What sweet little angels I have." Anna smiled as she walked out of the room to give you alone time. You pulled the pump out and started using it to fill up some bottles. It was strange that you didn't need to do it very often, but when you did...you had an extraordinary amount....and it never hurt when you didn't do it. You chalked it up to being part hexenbeist. After you finished and kissed them all you headed downstairs to eat breakfast. You were always very hungry after pumping. Miranda was sitting on the couch reading a book she had bought at the mall, "Morning, (Y/N). Sleep well?" You smiled as you made some coffee, "Actually I did. How about you?" She shook her head as she walked into the kitchen behind you, "I had the worst dreams with your mom in them." The thought gave you shivers, "Geez, I'm sorry. Hopefully you'll sleep better tonight. How about later we go take Beautiful Dreamer for a ride?" Miranda nodded, "Sounds like fun!" The two of you chatted about weird dreams until her phone went off. She looked down at the call screen, "It's Peter, maybe he's found some parts." She crossed her fingers as she answered the phone, "Hey any news?"

You ate some toast as she continued her conversation and then she hung up, "He's found some super cheap parts a few hours away. He's coming to pick me up shortly." You smiled, "I'll walk you out when he gets here. I'd like to see him, since Roman isn't home and can't object." Miranda chuckled, "How come he'd object I thought you were friends?" Looking down at your toast you sighed, "They're fighting right now...it's not something that can be rushed." She gave a sympathetic smile, "I see. Can't say I haven't been through those before." You smirked at her, "You, my new-found friend, are full of stories. Even when I use to travel, I never bothered to make as many friends as you have." Miranda shrugged, "Not everyone needs so many." The way she said it reminded you of Shelley and made you sad for a few minutes. You motioned for her to follow you into your office, a picture of the five of you on your desk, "See this photo?" She nodded and took it from you, "That was one of the happiest times in our life...Peter was dating Roman's cousin Letha. Letha was pregnant...Shelley was just opening up to me when we took that photo. Roman and I hadn't started dating yet." You pointed to Shelley, "You would have liked her...maybe one day, if she ever comes home, you'll meet her." Miranda smiled at you as she sat the photo down, "How come you never go to work?" You chuckled, "It's not like I do anything really...mostly just exit interviews for disgruntled employees who are leaving. I do some paper work every once in a while." What you didn't say was that you kept track of all the experiments going on. Miranda laughed, "You take care of a company, that's beyond huge. You're doing something right." The two of you laughed as a horn went off. You chuckled lightly, "That'll be Peter." As Miranda walked out you grabbed your check book from your old account. Slowly you had been adding money to it, in case anything happened to the company and Roman found himself with nothing but his name. Now you were going to give some of it to a friend.
