Broken

[Introduction]

What is love? Ya know, I thought I had it all figured out. You meet them, fall in love, and live happily ever after. But no, love is just the opposite of that. It breaks you. Like it broke me.

[August 18th, 2013]

Ugh here comes my annoying group of friends.

"Ahhhh Sierra we've missed you so much!"

"Omg we have so much to tell you!"

"You won't believe what me and Jason did! Shhh you can't tell anyone okay?"

Can't they go one day without bringing up their relationships? Ever since Zack and I broke up, they've tried to set me up with every guy they see. I really need to tell them to stop.

Wait a second, why did it just get quiet?

I turn around to see the girls with their jaws dropped, saliva trickling it's way down the edge of their mouth, staring in amazement, at what seems to be, a new guy.

Oh god, a new guy, a new guy is here, I have to get away before they get the idea to try again. I mean he's hot and all. Tall, brown curly hair, hazel eyes, soft carmel skin. He's just perfect already.

Ugh shut up Sierra. You're better than this. You can't let someone get into your heart again.

I look up to the new guy coming towards me. Great. Just what I needed at this moment.

"Hi, I'm Travis. I'm new to this school. Mind showing me around?"

"Uh, uhm, yeah sure" I say nervously. God he's hot.

"Great! My first class is Ms.Thomas, do you know where she is?"

"Yes, I have her right about now actually."

"Cool. So uhm, what's your name?"

My cheeks flush bright red. "Oh yeah, uhm, I'm Sierra." Embarrassment flashes across my face.

I can't believe I forgot to say my name. Who does that? Obviously me. I need to get myself together before I blow it. I hope he doesn't notice how embarrassed I am.

"You alright?" He says

"Oh, uh yeah. I'm fine. Just a stressful morning" I say as we walk to class

"Well I'm here if you wanna talk. Do you mind sitting next to me? You're the only person I know here and I don't wanna seem lonely" he says quietly

I smile and blush a lil "Sure, I'd love to."

"Thanks beautiful" he smiles and sits down next to me

My cheeks are bright red. He's the first person to call me beautiful without having to see me naked.

[8 hours later, after school]

"Hey Sierra, wait up!" Travis yells as I'm walking home

I stop and wait on him to catch up.

"Hey I left my key at home and my parents aren't home yet, can I come over?"

"Oh uhm, sure. My parents aren't home yet either so it'll be just us." I gulp down the bump in my throat. God I'm nervous. I just met this guy and he wants to stay over? Psh, not like it's the first time this has happened to me.

After a long walk of silence, we finally arrive at my house and walk right in. He sits down and takes his shirt off acting as if this is his house.

Oh god. His perfect sweaty skin is shining off of the sunlight in the room, it's almost sparkling. And his abs. I just wanna kiss all over him. His V-line is killing me. Especially since his pants are so low. I hope he doesn't notice me drooling over him.

I snap out of my thoughts as I hear him come close to me.

"Where's your shower?"

"Uh, uhm, it's upstairs to the right." I try to sound calm.

"Thanks. If you don't mind, I'm going to take a shower real quick."

"Oh yeah, sure, go ahead Hun." I freeze as I realize what I just called him. He just blushes a little and walks up stairs.

Lord, the way his muscles move as he's walking, and the way he bites his lip when he's nervous, just drives me crazy. I just met this boy and I already want him.
