It was a new school year which only meant one thing. New kids. Peter and Ben were both walking down the corridor to tutor.
"Do you think either of us will be picked to become buddies?" Ben asked.
"I hope not." Came Peter's reply.
"Why?"
"It's just a whole pile of responsibilities just slapped in your face."
"What do you mean?"
"Show them where their classes are, tell them where to get lunch, give them a biscuit if they behave."
"They can't be that bad."
"I just want nothing to do with them."
At that moment, one of the new ones turned the corner. She had a long nose and her hair was a dirty blonde colour. Both her front teeth were so far apart that Peter reckoned he could park a bus between them. She stuck a finger up her nose and dug around for something to eat. This on its own was rather disgusting. It was even worse when you consider the fact that it wasn't her finger. A poor year seven turned around to find his tiny index shoved deep in this fat creature's nose. He screamed and ran for the toilets. Peter watched her, a look of total disgust on his face. She passed them and turned a corner, a length of toilet paper hanging out her trousers.
"Hot." Ben whispered after her.
