"So?" Peter asked the next day at school.
"Well... she did bring some friends." Ben answered.
"And they didn't kidnap you?"
"They tried to..."
"WHAT?!"
"But some strange person shot them all with lasers!"
"WHO?!"
"This random figure with a red eye showed up and blasted them with some sort of light gun!"
"A RED EYE?!" Peter shouted in disbelief, "What else did they look like?"
"Well that's all," replied Ben, "the eye did sort of glow."
"Where they a robot?" Peter asked.
"I don't know, maybe. Their voice sounded a bit weird but they helped me. They told me to run away."
"And you're sure you weren't drugged when the friends arrived?"
"Positive" Ben nodded firmly.
"Speaking of friends, who where they?" Peter continued.
"I have no idea. I don't mean to be rude but they did look more... frog-like... than human."
"So Hildegard isn't the only one!" Peter exclaimed.
"Oi!" Ben retorted.
Mr T Ranquil rounded the corner.
"Ah, Peter and Bon," Ben cringed "how are you?"
"Something seems a bit off about this." Peter whispered.
"It's nice to see that you're okay after your brief... encounter." He continued.
"How'd you know about that?" Peter scowled.
"I... you... my daughter told me." Me T Ranquil stuttered.
"Right." Peter said, letting it hang in the air a little.
"Of course the situation wasn't optimum for us." Mr Ranquil muttered.
"What?" Peter asked.
"What?" He replied.
"You said something!"
"No I didn't!"
"He did didn't he, Ben?"
"What?" Ben looked up confused.
"Forget it..." Peter sighed.
"Well, I think I'll be seeing a lot of you boys around after today." Mr T Ranquil chimed in.
"Why." Ben asked.
"Oh... just a hunch." He answered and then skipped off down the hall to spend the rest of brake
