Jesse's POV

I was walking down the street to my newly built treehouse.

I happened to come across an old rival of mine.......

Aiden.

"Aiden!?" I yelled quite surprised.

"Jesse!?" He asked juat as shocked as me.

"What are you doing here!? I thought you were making up for all the trouble you caused in Sky City." I asked.

"Yeah um........they...let me go." He said.

Aiden's POV

"So how have you been Jesse?" I asked. I had developed feelings for her. She may be my old rival but that doesn't stop me from loving her.

"Fine....I guess" she answered.

I stared into her emerald eyes that were sparkling in the light. She is really beautiful. She too was staring at me. Does she like me back?

Jesse's POV

Aiden was staring at me with his green eyes. I could see in his eyes that he has feelings for me.

He almost killed me and the founder in Sky City, he hurt one of my friends but somehow I find him attractive.

"Why did you come back?" I questioned.

"Oh you know....just to see how everything was going back here. I also came to tell you something important."

"Go ahead, I'm all ears. "

"Not here. Can we go to your place?"

"Sure. C'mon." I motioned for him to follow me.

Time skip to Jesse's house

I let Aiden inside and he sat on the couch.

"Can I get you anything to drin?"

"No thanks" he declined

"So what was it you wanted to talk about?" I already know what he's going to say but I'll ask any way.

"First I want to say I'm sorry for everything I had done to you and your friends at Sky City. Can you forgive me?" He asked. Hope twinkled in his eyes.

"Of course I forgive you." I admitted.

"Good. Also I just wanted to say that I......I......." he was blushing and couldn't finish his sentance.

"You.....?" I tried to encourage him to continue.

"I.....l-love you Jesse. I don't expect you to feel the sa--" he was cut off by me hugging him.

"I never thought I'd say this but, I love you too. You may be my enemy but that doesn't change my mind about you. You know what they say, 'keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.'" I giggled a little as I confessed. I can see in his eyes that he has changed. I like this new Aiden.

I turned the tv on for us to watch a movie. Once I found the right movie I rested my head on Aidens chest and he put an arm around me.
