2.6 "Welcome Back"

I sighed annoyed "you "

Nadia smiled at me

Then she raised a gun at us "hello, auntie"

Kat waked inside. Nadia saw her and pointed the gun at her. Kat held her hands up.

Nadia "Which one of you is Katherine Pierce?"

Kat pointed at Elena " She is."

Nadia " Katherine is a compulsive liar...but I need her alive."

Elena speeded at Nadia and threw her at a table.

Elena yelled"Katherine, run!"

Nadia growled "You really do look exactly alike."

She pushed Elena against a wall and speeded after Kat who ran out.

Damon " Wonderful. Now we've got a vampire bounty hunter to deal with. Let me guess: Euro-bitch was not part of the dream?"

Elena shook her head " I've never seen her before."

Damon "Yeah. Well, whoever she was, she wants Katherine, which means she's probably a Silas spy."

Elena nodded " I'll go chase after her. You find Stefan."

Damon stopped her "Wait, what? No. She almost killed you."

Elena " We don't have time for a detour. Damon, Stefan's hurt. Find him."

Damon "Wait. No. Stop. Just wait. Any sign of trouble, you let her go, do you understand me? I don't care how bad Silas wants Katherine. She's not worth the hair on your head. You got me? Okay? Kiss me. Go."

They kissed quickly and then she ran out.

I sat back down on a stool.

Damon turned to me "what? you're not going to go after them?"

Me "A: i don't care about Katerina and B: that woman won't hurt her"

Damon "how can you know?"

I shrugged. 

Damon grimaced "wait, why did she call you "auntie"?"

I rolled my eyes "3....2...2.."

His eyes widened.

Me "finally"

Damon "How is that even possible?"

Me "do i really have to explain to you where babies come from?"

Damon rolled his eyes "come on, let's go"

I stood up and walked to out.

I walked through the woods and saw Elena on the ground. I walked to her and shook her. She woke up and looked around.

I raised an eyebrow "you okay?"

Elena "where is Katherine?"

I looked around "gone"

Elena "that girl took her"

Me "not our problem.. We have more important things to do"

Elena "Where Damon?"

Me "went searching for Stefan. I found you instead. "

I helped her up.

Elena "Then let's go"

We started walking.

I yelled "Damon!"

Elena looked around "Damon! "

Me "Stefan?!"

Suddenly we heard Damon "Ad, Elena?!"

Elena and i looked at each other and then we ran into the direction. A cabin. The door was open. I ran inside and my jaw dropped. I saw Stefan on the ground.

I ran to him and kneeled down next to him.

I put my hand on his cheek  "Stefan? oh, no, Stefan. Stefan, can you hear me? Stefan, wake up, please"

I took his hand in mine.

At home. Night.

Stefan lied unconscious on the sofa, I was sitting on the sofa table by his side. I put his daylight on his finger when I heard someone walk inside.  

Damon "you okay?"

I turned to him and shook my head.

Then i stood up and raised an eyebrow " You're suspiciously quiet. Tell me what Qetsiyah said back at the cabin."

Damon looked down,

I asked worried "Damon?"

Damon "She told me that Elena and i don't stand a chance."

I raised an eyebrow.

Damon "Well, she told me a very interesting little story about the history of doppelgängers, how they're fated to fall in love with each other. Basically, the universe programmed you and Elena to fall in love with Stefan, not me, which means...She and i are a lost cause no matter what we do. I'm paraphrasing."

My eyes widened "The universe?"

Damon held his hands out  "Her words, not mine."

I shrugged " So, she's crazy?"

Damon shrugged " Maybe. Maybe she's not."

Me "But that would mean that..."

Damon nodded "........you and Stefan were meant to happen. Either way"

My jaw dropped. 

Damon asked concerned "you okay?"

Me " I know how i feel, Damon. I'm in love with Stefan because i  want to, not because i need to. It was my decision, like it was his decision to fall in love with me. "

Damon looked down.

I shook my head "no one tells me how I live my life, no one tells me who I love, especially not some vindictive prehistoric crazy witch, and definitely not the universe. I love Stefan more than anything."

Damon smiled and hugged me. 

Suddenly we heard Stefan wake up. We turned to him when he stood up.

Damon smiled "Welcome back, brother."

I smiled "Stefan...we missed you."

Stefan narrowed his eyebrows " Uh, I'm sorry...I—I have no idea who you people are."

My smile dropped. I turned to Damon who was shocked too.
